• Connect the unit to the power supply, then switch on the on/off switch at the back of the appliance. An
acoustic signal sounds and the display will light up for 3 seconds. Afterwards the unit will automatically
switch to standby mode. Push the on/off switch again when you want to switch it off. Please note that
the fan continues to run for approx. 60 sec. before the unit switches itself off. This will cool down the
heating element.
• Press to turn on the unit. Press the button again to turn the unit off.
• Setting of day and time:
o When the unit is switched on, long press for three seconds. The screen will display d1 and
it flashes. Use the arrow keys to choose between d1, d2, d3, d4, d5, d6, d7. Please confirm
your selection with .
o After the day setting, the unit enters the time setting and the hour icon flashes. Set the current
hour by using the arrow keys and confirm with .
o Follow the same way to set the minutes. Confirm your setting with .
To check your settings, press in standby mode. The screen will automatically show day, hour and
minutes in turns with one second each. Then it will show the ambient temperature.
Note: During first usage the indicator will keep flashing until the current day and time are set. Please
finish the setting before any other operation.
• Heat setting selection:
o Turn on the unit with . The display will show and work at full power (2000W). Press
to choose between full and half power .
• Temperature setting:
o Press one of the arrow keys to set the temperature. You may choose between 5°C and 35°C.
The temperature will be saved automatically after five seconds when no further operation is
conducted.
o Heating is stopped when the room temperature has reached the target temperature. If the room
temperature is 1°C lower than the target temperature, heating will resume.
Note: The temperature cannot be adjusted during frost protection mode.
