Latitude Direction: Choose North or South.
Latitude Angle: Use the 0 ~ 9 buttons to enter the coordinate.
When all settings have been made, press OK to save the data and leave the window.
NOTE: The location setting only needs to be entered once, and is valid for all
satellites. If needed, the motor can physically be brought to its 0° reference
position, to align the dish South (or North for for Southern hemisphere)
first.
Once the coordinates of your position have been set, press OK to enter the submenu.
Move Auto: Press t u for moving West/East. Press the opposite t u to stop moving.
Move Continue: Press t u for moving West/East. Press the opposite t u to stop moving.
Move Step(1): Press t u for moving West/East in 0.3° step.
Store Position: To store the current engine position for the selected Satellite. Press u and OK
to confirm.
Goto Position: To move the dish to the last stored position. Press u and OK to confirm.
Goto Reference: To move the Dish to the 0.0° position. Press u and OK to confirm.
GotoX: To direct the dish to the theoretical position of the selected satellite. Press u
and OK to confirm.
To memorize the correct position of the desired satellites it is necessary to follow the following
procedure:
With pq select the satellite in the list on the left of the screen, switch to the options column on
the right of the screen by pressing the u button, use pq to select the option Motor to select
DiSEqC 1.3. Press OK button to access the Set Position menu. Select GotoX and press u and OK
buttons to confirm. The motor will move to reach the theoretical position of the selected satellite.
If necessary use the other options Move continue and Move Step for small direction corrections and
check the signal Quality in the signal bar below until you reach the best possible position. Once the
final position is reached, select Store Position and confirm with the buttons u and OK. Repeat this
operation for any other Satellite you intend to scan.
Set limit
If your dish is physically obstructed to the East or West (example by a wall), you can limit its moving
range by pressing the RED button to Set Limit to prevent it hitting the obstruction.
Use:
Move Continue: Press t u for moving West/East. Press the opposite t u to stop moving.
Move Step(1): Press t u for moving West/East in 0.3° step.
Set West Limit: Press u and OK to confirm the set limit.
Set East Limit: Press u and OK to confirm the set limit.
Goto Reference: To direct the dish to the 0.0 ° position. Press u and OK to confirm.
Disable Limit: To eliminate the previously set limits
Check if you are still well clear of the obstruction. Then select Set East or West Limit, according to
the direction, and press u and OK to store. Repeat if there is also an obstruction to the opposite
direction. When accidentally selecting satellites from the list which are out of range by your dish, it
will not run in to the obstruction.
Both limits can be disabled with Disable Limit.
