D A D E L C A K E M E T C A R A M E L S A U S
Voor 12 porties
Ingrediënten:
200 gr grof gehakte, gedroogde en pitloze dadels
kop (310 ml) kokend water
60 gr zachte boter
1 kop (230 gr)bruine suiker
1 kop (150 gr) meel
theelepel bakpoeder
2 licht opgeklopte eieren
Ingrediënten voor de karamelsaus:
kop (290 gr) bruine suiker
1 kop (250 ml) slagroom
125 gr boter
Bereiding:
1. Verwarm de oven voor op 180 °C. Vet de bodem van een muffinvorm in.
2. Doe de dadels en het hete water in een hitte bestendige kom. Dek dit toe en
laat het minuten staan. Dan voorzichtig in de blenderkom doen en de deksel
afsluiten.
3. Voeg de boter en de suiker toe en mix deze 2–3 keer met de PULSE knop. Voeg
de rest van de ingrediënten toe en mix deze met de PULSE knop totdat alles goed
vermengd is. Niet te lang mixen! Verwijder indien nodig voedsel dat aan de wand
blijft plakken.
4. Giet het deeg evenredig in de muffinvorm en bak dit gedurende 20 minuten.
Controleer met een houten prikker of deze gaar is. Vervolgens uit de oven halen
en 5 minuten laten afkoelen. Daarna op een rooster zetten. Warm serveren.
5. Serveer de cake met karamelsaus. Voor de karamelsaus, doet u alle ingrediën-
ten in een pan en mengt deze op een laag vuur. Constant doorroeren, totdat
alles goed gemengd is.
