switch, the indicator lamp will light up and now the
appliance starts to work.
Note: Caution: Do not open the reservoir lid
during the brew cycle, as scalding may occur.

emptied, then automatically enter into keep-warm
mode. (The warm plate will keep the brewed
coffee warm at above 72ºC,) until the appliance
switches automatically into off mode within 40
minutes.

of coffee, wait a few minutes to allow the
Coffeemaker completely cool .
GENERAL CARE AND CLEANING
1. Do not forget to remove the plug from the socket
before cleaning the appliance.
2. Make sure that the appliance and especially the
carafe are cool down before cleaning.
3. Do not wash the carafe immediately after the use
in order to avoid thermal shock.
4. Clean the inside of the carafe with a soft brush in
warm soapy water. Rinse with fresh water and dry
it before next use.
Note: When washed in a dishwasher, the parts
may appear to fade. Restore by polishing them
with a soft, dry cloth.
5. Wipe outside with soft, moist cloth when appliance
is cold down completely, never use metal polish.
6. Never immerse the cord, plug, or appliance itself
in water.
DESCALING
1. The appliance has to be descaled regularly
(minimum twice a year)
2. Operate two or three more brewing cycles with
fresh, cold water to remove all descaler solution
residues. Throw out the obtained hot water.
3. The frequency depends on the water hardness.
Generally, the descaling should be done every two
months.

GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNGEN
1. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch reinigen Sie die Karaffe,

2. Bevor Kaffee machen, sollten Sie die
Kaffeemaschine einmal nur mit Wasser verwenden.
Werfen Sie das erhaltene Wasser weg.
3. Der Wasserbehälter Deckel entfernen und mit frischem,
kaltem Wasser auf die gewünschte Ebene füllen.
4. Die Wasserbehälter-Abdeckung Schließen.
5. Der Filterhalter ausschwenken, eine ausreichende

Hinweis: Vorsicht: Der Tankdeckel während des
Brühzyklus nicht öffnen, da Verbrennungen auftreten
können.
8. Das Gerät wird brauen, bis der Wassertank entleert

dann wird es automatisch in den Warmhaltemodus
eingeben. (Die warme Platte hält den Kaffee über 72ºC
warm) bis das Gerät automatisch in den Aus-Modus
schaltet, in ca. 40 Minuten.

WARNUNG: Bevor eine andere Karaffe Kaffee brauen,
warten Sie einige Minuten die Kaffeemaschine zu
vollständig abkühlen lassen.
ALLGEMEINE PFLEGE UND REINIGUNG
1. Vergessen Sie nicht, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen,
den Stecker aus der Steckdose zu entfernen.
2. Stellen Sie sicher, daß das Gerät und vor allem die
Karaffe, vor der Reinigung abgekühlt werden.
3. Die Karaffe nicht sofort nach dem Gebrauch
waschen, um Thermoschock zu vermeiden.
4. Reinigen Sie das Innere der Karaffe mit einer
weichen Bürste in warmem Seifenwasser. Mit
Frischwasser spülen und trocknen bevor dem
nächsten Gebrauch.
Hinweis: Wenn sie in der Spülmaschine gewaschen
sind, können die Teile zu verblassen scheinen.
Wiederherstellen, bei mit einem weichen, trockenen
Tuch polieren.
5. Der außen mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch
abwischen, wenn das Gerät vollständig abgekühlt ist,
niemals Metallpolitur verwenden.
6. Das Kabel, den Stecker oder das Gerät in Wasser
nie Tauchen.
ENTKALKEN
1. Das Gerät muß regelmäßig (mindestens zweimal pro
Jahr) entkalkt werden.
2. Zwei oder drei weitere Brühzyklen mit frischem,
kaltem Wasser betreiben für alle Entkalkerlösung
Rückstände zu entfernen. Werfen Sie die erhaltene
heiße Wasser weg.
3. Die Frequenz hängt von der Wasserhärte auf. Im
allgemeinen sollte die Entkalkung jede zwei Monate
durchgeführt werden.
