Push the ‘UP/DOWN’ button to scroll through the Logic options
Once you have highlighted your preferred logic mode press the ‘OK’ button to conrm the new setting. The unit will display
‘Setting Conrmed’ indicating the new setting has been saved.
12. Adjust Brightness
You can adjust the brightness of the TFT LCD full colour graphical display to
accommodate dierent driving conditions.
To adjust the brightness of the display
Press the ‘OK’ button when the Adjust Brightness’ is displayed in the menu options.
To increase the brightness push the ‘UP/DOWN button to increase or decrease the
brightness
Press the ‘OK’ button to save the new setting. The unit will display ‘Setting Conrmed’
13. Schools
Lynx allows you the option of choosing whether or not you would like to receive
advanced warnings of Primary Schools (Schools are time sensitive on Lynx – 08:30-
09:30am, 12:00-13:00 and 15:30 to 16:30). This feature is switched ‘ON’ by default.
However if you wish to turn this alert o (at weekends for example) you can do this by
using this facility.
Please Note: This feature is only available in the UK
Please Note: The schools database is pre-loaded onto the unit but is switched OFF
by default. The unit can only alert you to Primary School locations if you switch this
feature ON.
To turn School alerts ON’ or ‘OFF’
Press the ‘OK’ button when ‘Schools’ is displayed in the menu options.
Highlight your desired option (‘ON’ or ‘OFF’) by using the ‘UP/DOWN’ button.
Once you have highlighted your desired setting press the ‘OK’ button. The unit will display ‘Setting Conrmed’ indicating the new
setting has been saved.
14. High Risk Zones
Lynx allows you the option of choosing whether or not you would like to receive
advanced warnings of areas such as Accident Black spots that may not currently have
Fixed Speed Safety Cameras installed near them but which are still considered as High
Risk Zones. This option is switched ‘ON’ by default.
To turn High Risk Zone alerts ‘ON’ or OFF’
Press the ‘OK’ button when ‘High Risk Zones’ is displayed in the menu options.
Highlight your desired option (‘ON’ or ‘OFF’) by using the UP/DOWN button.
Once you have highlighted your desired setting press the ‘OK’ button. The unit will display ‘Setting Conrmed’ indicating the new
setting has been saved.
