7) Tip the fried food into a bowl or a sieve (lined with absorbent kitchen paper!).
If you do not use the deep fat fryer regularly, it is advisable to store the cooled
oil in well-sealed bottles or other frying containers – preferably in the refrigerator
or a similar cool storage location. Fill the bottles through a fine sieve in order to
remove any food particles from the oil.
Fondue
You can use this deep fat fryer as a fondue pot.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use the appliance to make chocolate or cheese fondues!
Use only fat/oil or stock when preparing a fondue with this appliance.
1) Prepare the appliance as described in the section “Preparations”.
2) Open the appliance lid and place the fondue ring ! on the edge of the
frying container and close the lid again.
3) Insert the plug into a power socket.
4) Set the on/off switch to the “I” position. The Power control lamp lights up.
5) Set the temperature control to the desired temperature level.
For a classic fondue with oil/fat: use the table in the section “Frying foods” as
a guide depending on which type of food you want to fry.
For fondue with stock: Set a temperature between 90 and 110°C (around
100°C); the stock should just simmer (not boil).
6) When the set temperature has been reached, open the lid.
7) Skewer some food onto the fondue skewers 3 and place the fondue
skewers 3 carefully into the frying contaisner . You can place one
fondue skewer 3 in each indentation on the fondue ring !.
Depending on the type and size, the skewered food will be ready in a few
minutes.
8) Take out the fondue skewer 3 carefully and remove the food. You can then
skewer more food onto the fondue skewer 3 and lower it into the hot oil/
stock.
9) When you are finished with the fondue, turn the temperature control to
Min, set the on/off switch to the “O” position and pull the plug out of the
mains power socket.
