7. Cleaning
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
~Pull the mains plug|10 out of the wall
socket before you clean the device.
DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning!
~Allow the device to cool down before
cleaning.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
~Do not use any sharp or abrasive clean-
ing aids.
Cleaning the device
For cleaning the device, use a soft,
moistened cloth.
Dirt can be removed from the steam
unit|3 using commercially available
cleaning agents for chrome, silver or
stainless steel.
Descaling
If the steam power is reduced after a certain
time, please descale the device.
For descaling, you should use a com-
mercially available descaling agent
based on citric acid. Please follow the
instructions for the descaling agent.
1. Place the descaling agent into the wa-
ter tank|8.
2. Connect the mains plug|10 with the
wall socket. The control light|1 flashes.
3. Allow the descaling agent to work.
4. Press the steam button|4 and use the
steam brush to steam an old cotton
cloth.
8. Storage
1. Pull out the mains plug|10.
2. Allow the device to cool down.
3. Remove the water tank|8 and open the
lid|7.
4. Pour any remaining water out of the
water tank|8 through the filling open-
ing|6.
5. Replace the water tank|8.
9. Troubleshooting
If your device fails to function as required,
please try this checklist first. Perhaps there is
only a minor problem, and you can solve it
yourself.
