Feeding roller
Einzugsrolle
3. Rotate the feeding roller in the direc-
tion of the arrow and gently remove
the misfed paper from the exit area.
4. Raise the fusing unit release lever,
close the front cover and then close
the side cover by pressing the round
projections near the side cover open
button. The misfeed (
t) indicator will
go out and the ready (
) indicator
will light up.

2. Push gently on both sides of the front
cover to open the cover.

2. Vorsichtig auf beide Seiten der Front-
abdeckung drücken, um sie zu öff-
nen.
When closing the covers, be sure
to close the front cover securely
and then close the side cover. If the
covers are closed in the wrong or-
der, the covers may be damaged.
Beim Schließen der Abdeckungen
sollte zuerst die Frontabdeckung
und anschließend die Seitenabdek-
kung sicher geschlossen werden.
Durch Schließen der Abdeckungen
in der falschen Reihenfolge können
sie beschädigt werden.
1. Open the lower side cover (under the
bypass tray) and remove the misfed
paper. If Q blinks and the misfed
paper isnot seen from the area of the
lower side cover, pull out the lower
paper tray and remove the misfed
paper. Then close the lower paper tray.
2. Close the lower side cover.
3. Close the side cover by pressing the
round projections near the side cover
open button. The misfeed (t) indica-
tor will go out and the ready (

Papier im Bereich der unteren Seiten-
abdeckung nicht zu sehen ist, das
untere Papierfach herausziehen und
das gestaute Papier entfernen. An-
schließend das untere Papierfach wie-
der schließen.
2.Die untere Seitenabdeckung
schließen.
3. Die Seitenabdeckung durch Drücken der
runden Erhebungen neben der Verrie-
gelungstaste schließen. Die Papiers-
tauanzeige (t) erlischt, und die Be-
reitschaftsanzeige (
) leuchtet auf.
