This section is aimed at the more experienced
Satellite Receiver (Set Top Box) user.Specically,
it describes how to add additional Satellites that
are not present in the Factory pre-loaded list and
how to set up your unit to work with a Motorised
Dish.
Press MENU to enter the INSTALLATION Menu
then use the CH+- keys to select the item you
wish to adjust and the VOL+- to select the new
setting. Then press EXIT and OK to store.
10.1 Antenna Setting
This section enables you to adjust the Receiver
to match your LNB and set other parameters for
your installation.
Satellite: Select the Satellite from the list of 10
preloaded Satellites.
LNB Type: Select the type of LNB to be
used with your satellite dish Options are
UNIVERSAL,CBAND or USER.
LNB Low Frequency / LNB High Frequency:
Input the LNB LOW and LNB HIGH
FREQUENCY for your LNB using the numeric
keys if required.
22 kHz Tone Control: If the LNB frequency
is not universal, the 22 KHz should be set to
“OFF”. Other choices are ON and AUTO.
DiSEqC Control: This receiver supports the
following motorised dish settings:
DISABLE - DiSEqC 1.0
DiSEqC 1.0/1.1 - TONE A
TONE B - USALS
DiSEqC 1.2
Refer to your Motorised Dish instruction booklet
for the settings appropriate to your dish.
LNB Power: This setting turns ON or OFF the
internal power supply from the Receiver to the
LNB, a maximum of 500mA at 13-18V can be
supplied.
SUBTL Button - Scan Options: Press the
SUBTL button to enter Scan Option menu:
Scan Mode: Select the desired Scanning
mode for the satellite; FTA only, ALL or
SCRAMBLED.
FTA only: To Search for all the Free Channels
available with the selected satellite or
transponders.
ALL: To Search for all the Free Channels
+ Scrambled Channels available with the
selected Satellite orTransponders.
Scrambled: To Search for all the Scrambled
Channels available with the selected Satellite.
This option will only be of benet if your
Receiver has a CAM unit tted. (Not an
Option on this version).
Network Open: This setting when set to ON
enable the receiver during a scan to search
for all transponders available on the Satellite
from the Network Providers. When set to OFF
it searches just the preloaded transponders.
Polarity: Select between HORIZONTAL,
VERTICAL and HOR & VER.
Scan Reminder: When set to YES this brings
up the SCAN OPTION menu when the RED
scan button is pressed, you then need to
press EXIT to start the scan. When set to NO
pressing the RED button immediately initiates
the SCAN.
RED Button - SCAN: This button is used to
activate the SCAN. Note however if SCAN
REMINDER in SCAN OPTIONS is set to NO
then to initiate the scan you will need to press
OK after making any changes to the SCAN
OPTIONS that you might require.
OK Button – Satellite List: This lists all the
pre-programmed Satellites
