7. PUTTING THE MACHINE INTO OPERATION
- The cross-cutting gauge can be fitted in the table groove to
the left or right of the saw blade.
- It allows precise cuts between 45° and 90°.
- In order to change the angle, release the knob (J3).
- Set the desired angle by matching the mark on the sliding
part (L) with the scale.
- Retighten the knob.
e. Setting the croos-cutting gauge (31)
- The work pieces to be cut are always fed to the saw blade in
the same direction.
- Put the work piece flat on the machine table.
- Push it along the fence, always paying attention to your
hands.
- Always push the wood with two hands. Use the push stick
(U1) when working close to the saw blade.
- In order to avoid tilting of large work pieces, use the table
extensions.
- For a straight guiding, work with the parallel fence (G1).
f. Sawing of work pieces (32)(33)
Important : It is absolutely prohibited to make grooves, tenons
or rebates with the machine. It is also not allowed to remove
the saw blade guard (A) or the riving knife (B).
