Proper Use

• The machine meets the requirements of the valid EC

machine directive.

• Before starting to work, all guards and safety devices

must be ﬁtted to the machine.

• The machine has been designed to be operated by one

person. The operator is responsible opposite third par-

ties for all dangers emanating from the machine in the

working area.

• Observe all safety instructions and warnings attached to

the machine.

• See to it that safety instructions and warnings attached

to the machine are always complete and perfectly leg-

ible.

• The planer/thicknesser with its tools and accessories

offered has exclusively been designed for the treatment

of wood.

• When working with the standard equipment, the work

pieces must not exceed the table size. Passage width

204 mm, passage height 120 mm.

• Larger work pieces that could tilt from the table top,

require the use of a table length extension or a roller

stand (optional equipment).

• When used in enclosed rooms, the machine must be

connected to a dust extractor unit to remove wood chips

and sawdust. The air ﬂow rate at the suction connector

must be 20 m/s.

• For work in commercial spaces, a dust extractor unit

must be used that meets commercial requirements.

• Never switch off or remove dust extractor units with the

main machine running.

• The machine must only be used in technically perfect

condition in accordance with its designated use and the

instructions set out in the operating manual. Any func-

tional disorders, especially those affecting the safety

of the machine, should therefore be rectiﬁed immedi-

ately.

• The safety, working and maintenance instructions of the

manufacturer, as well as the dimensions stated in the

chapter Technical Data, must be observed.

• Relevant accident prevention regulations and other,

generally recognized safety-technical rules must also be

adhered to.

• The machine may only be used, maintained, and oper-

ated by persons familiar with it and instructed in its

operation and procedures. Arbitrary alterations to the

machine release the manufacturer from all responsibil-

ity for any resulting damage.

• The machine may only be used with original accessories

and original tools of the manufacturer.

• Attention: The use of other tools or accessories than

stated in the operating instructions, can hold the risk of

injuries.

• Any other use exceeds authorization. The manufacturer

is not responsible for any damages resulting from unau-

thorized use; risk is the sole responsibility of the opera-

tor.

• Tous les dispositifs de sécurité et de protection doivent

être montés pour le travail.

• La rabo-dégau est conçue pour être maniée par une

seule personne ayant toute la responsabilité.

• Observer toutes les consignes relatives à la sécurité et

au danger ﬁgurant sur la machine.

• Veiller à ce que toutes les plaques d’avertissement re-

latives à la sécurité et au danger appliquées sur la ma-

chine soient toujours complètes et bien lisibles.

• Le rabot et ses outils doivent uniquement être utilisés

pour raboter le bois.

• Les dimensions maximales des pièces à travailler ne

doivent pas être plus grandes que la table. Largeur de

passage 204 mm, hauteur de passage 120 mm.

• Avec des pièces de travailler très grandes qui pourraient

basculer, il faut employer une rallonge de table ou une

servante (équipements optionnels).

• Si la machine est utilisée dans des locaux fermés, elle

doit être reliée à un dispositif d’aspiration. Faire tou-

jours aspirer les copeaux de bois et la sciure. La vitesse

de ﬂux à la buse d’aspiration doit être de 20 m/s.

• Pour l'aspiration lors de travaux relevant du domaine

professionnel, utiliser une dépoussiéreur autorisé à ce

but.

• Ne pas arrêter ou retirer les installations d’aspiration ou

dépoussiéreurs lors du fonctionnement de la machine-

outil.

• Utiliser la machine uniquement lorsqu'elle est en parfait

état du point de vue technique et conformément à son

emploi prévu en observant les instructions de service,

en tenant compte de la sécurité et en ayant conscience

du danger. Eliminer notamment (ou faire éliminer) im-

médiatement toute panne susceptible de compromettre

la sécurité.

• Les consignes de sécurité, de travail, et d’entretien du

constructeur ainsi que les dimensions qui sont indi-

quées dans les données techniques, doivent être res-

pectées.

• Respecter les consignes de prévention antiaccidents

appropriées, ainsi que les autres règles de sécurité

techniques reconnue en général.

• Utilisation, entretien, mise en condition de la machine

uniquement par des personnes familiarisées et qui sont

informées des dangers inhérants. Toute initiative de

modiﬁcation de la machine exclut la responsabilité du

constructeur pour les dommages y faisant suite.

• La machine doit être utilisée uniquement avec des ac-

cessoires et des outils d’origine du constructeur.

• Attention: L'utilisation d'autres outils et accessiores que

ceux-ci spéciﬁés dans le manuel, peut causer des bles-

sures.

• Tout autre genre d'utilisation est considéré comme non

conforme. Le constructeur n’assume pas de responsa-

bilité en cas de dommages dans ce cas; le risque est à

la charge de l’utilisateur seul.
