Putting into operation
Attention! Device must be unplugged from mains during any
retooling or assembly work
Dust extraction:
When used in enclosed rooms, the machine must be
connected to a dust extractor unit.
Connecting the dust extractor for surface planing:
Lift the arm• (G) of the cutter block guard in order to
free the mortises (H) (Fig. 6).
On both sides of the suction connector, pull out the •
switching pins (I) (Fig. 7).
Set the thicknessing table to the lowest position and •
push the suction connector into the machine until both
switching pins (I) can slide into the mortises (H) (Fig.
8).
Concluding set the thickness table upwards until the •
suction hood is fixed.
Connecting the dust extractor for thicknessing (Fig. 8)
•Removethetrimmingendstoprails.
Push the cutter block guard back and fix the suction •
connector.
•Theconnectingpieceisattachedsothatbothat-base
tappets (I) are aligned with the slots (H). Then slide the
flat-base tappets into the slots (H) and secure the caps
to the trimming table with the knurled screw K.
For an optimum dust extraction, the air flow rate must be
20 m/s at a minimum.
Planer axle guard (Fig. 9)
Height can be adjusted with the knurled screw J, located
under the planer axle protection arm. After loosening the
clamp K, the knife cover can be pushed to the side and
the planer adjusted to the correct width. After adjusting,
close the clamp.
Surfacing:
The amount of chip removal is set by means (L) of the
scale (M) on the front side of the table top M. The best
surface is obtained at a planing depth between 0.5 and
1.5 mm.
Warning:
The part of the cutter block not used must by covered
by the guard. Working position is in front of the machine
at the side of the infeed table. Put the fingers of both
hands on top of the work piece. Do not hold the work

Aspiration de poussière:
Si la machine est utilisée dans des locaux fermés, elle
doit être reliée à un dispositif d’aspiration.
Raccord de l’aspiration pour le dégauchissage:
Relever le bras• (G) de la protection de l'arbre de
rabotage pour dégager les trous oblongs (H) (Fig. 6).
Sur les deux côtés de la buse d’aspiration • F, retirer les
boulons commutateurs (I) (Fig. 7).
Mettre la table à la position la plus basse et pousser la •
buse d’aspiration dans la machine jusqu’au point
les deux boulons commutateurs (I) se laissent pousser
dans les trous oblongs (Fig. 8).
Ensuite régler la table de rabotage vers le haut jusqu’à •
ce que le capot d’aspiration soit fixé.
Raccord de l’aspiration pour le rabotage (Fig. 8)
Enlever le rail de la butée de dressage.•
Pousser la protection de l'arbre de rabotage en arrière •
et fixer la buse d’aspiration.
Le raccord d’aspiration doit être placé de sorte que les •
deux coulisseaux de commande (I) soient alignés sur
les trous oblongs (H). Ensuite introduire les coulisseaux
de commande dans les trous oblongs (H) et fixer le
capot avec la vis à tête moletée (K) sur la table de
dressage.
Protection de l’arbre de rabot (Fig. 9)
Le réglage de hauteur s’effectue à l’aide de la vis à tête
moletée (J) située sous le bras de protection de l’arbre
de rabot. Après desserrage du collier de serrage (K) la
protection du couteau peut être poussée sur le côté pour
permettre le réglage correct de la largeur du rabot. Après
le réglage, refermer le collier de serrage.
Dégauchisser:
La profondeur de rabotage est réglée par la poignée (L)
monté sur la face de la table N, à l’aide d’une échelle.
La meilleure (M) surface sobtient avec une profondeur
de rabotage entre 0,5 et 1,5 mm.
Attention:
Le dispositif de protection de l’arbre de rabotage doit
recouvrir la partie non utilisée de l’arbre. La position
de travaille est devant la machine à côté d’alimenta-
tion de bois. Mettre les doigts de deux mains sur la
