Information for work on hydraulic
equipment:
All work on the hydraulic equipment of the
machine may only be performed by qualified
personnel trained for this purpose as a basic
rule.
Before working, de-pressurise all hydraulic
systems / system parts.
Make sure that suitable collection containers
are available for all materials harmful to
groundwater (oils, coolant, etc.) before
beginning work.
Duties before finishing work
After completion of the service tasks and
prior to starting the machine, the following
points must be observed:
Fill in the test reports, task reports, etc.
Re-check all previously unscrewed
screw connections for firm seating.
Check whether all previous removed
protective devices, covers, container
lids, etc. are properly re-mounted.
Make sure that all tools, equipment
and materials which were used have
been removed from the work area.
Clean the work area and remove any
spilled liquids and similar materials.
Make sure that all the machine's safety
equipment functions properly again.
Test the function of the safety equip-
ment. Do not release the machine for
use if the safety equipment does not
function properly.
Mount and secure the disassembled
protective devices.
Remove all tools, foreign parts and
operating materials left lying around.
Perform a test run with a functional
check of the serviced components.
Secure the machine against unauthor-
ised start-up if you have not completed
the work.
Handling of open flames and smoking
are prohibited.
Maintenance
Cleaning
The conveyor belt should be cleaned thor-
oughly after each use. This will increase the
service life of the machine considerably.
Inspecting the rubber belt
After each use the rubber mats must be
inspected for damage and replaced as neces-
sary.
Check the cable for the cable winch
The cable must be inspected before and after
each use for damage. It may not have any
kinked or crushed areas. Similarly, individu-
al strands may not be broken.
If any damage is present on the cable, it must
be immediately replaced.
Inspect all cable rolls for signs of wear.
Tensioning the conveyor belt
The conveyor belt must be re-tightened
regularly. For this purpose, first loosen the 4
screws (10). Then the upper deflection pul-
ley can be shifted over the two threaded rods
(11).
In the process, always make sure that the re-
tightening takes place to an equal extent on
both sides. Otherwise the conveyor belt
would not longer run in the centre.
