Putting into operation

Attention! Device must be unplugged from mains

during any retooling or assembly work

Dust extraction Fig. 6,7

When used in enclosed rooms, the machine must be

connected to a dust extractor unit.

Connecting the dust extractor for surface planing:

• Set the thicknessing table to the lowest position and

push the suction connector into the machine until both

switching pins (I) can slide into the mortises (H) (Fig.

6).

• Finally, fasten the exhaust hood on the jointing

table with a threaded pin Fig. 7.

Connecting the dust extractor for thicknessing (Fig.

8.0, 8.1, 8.2)

• Loosen the clamping lever (D, Fig.4) and push back

the stop rail (C) up to the stop bolt (E)

• Adjust the stop at an inclination of 45°

• Push the knife cover back

• Lift the arm (G) of the planer shaft guard so that the

slotted holes (H) are exposed

• Push the exhaust nozzles (4) under the arm (G)

till both switching plungers (I) are balanced to the

slotted holes (H). (Fig.8.1)

• Insert the switching plungers (1) into the slotted

holes

• Fasten the exhaust hood (4) on the jointing table

with the knurled screw (K) (Fig.8.2)

• Push the knife cover over the exhaust nozzles

Planer axle guard (Fig. 9)

Height adjustment is done with the clamping handle (J).

After loosening the clamp (K), the knife cover can be

pushed to the side and the planer adjusted to the correct

width. After adjusting, close the clamp.

Surfacing:

The amount of chip removal is set by means (Fig. 8.2,

L) of the scale (M) on the front side of the table top (N).

The best surface is obtained at a planing depth between

0.5 and 1.5 mm.

Warning:

The part of the cutter block not used must by covered

by the guard. Working position is in front of the machine

at the side of the infeed table. Put the ngers of both

hands on top of the work piece. Do not hold the work

piece edges.

The work pieces to be planed must lie rmly on the table

so they can be guided safely. For shorter work pieces

use the guide handle.

Si la machine est utilisée dans des locaux fermés, elle

doit être raccordée à un dispositif d’aspiration.

Raccordement de l’aspiration pour le dégauchissage:

• Descendre la table de rabotage à sa position la plus

basse et insérer l’éjecteur de copeaux dans la machine

jusqu’à ce que les deux leviers commutateurs (I) se

laissent engager dans les trous oblongs (H) (Fig. 6).

• Fixer ensuite l’éjecteur avec la vis moletée à la table

de dégauchissage Fig. 7.

Raccordement de l’aspiration pour le rabotage (Fig.

8.0, 8.1, 8.2)

• Desserrer le levier de serrage (D, Fig.4) et pousser

le rail du guide (C) jusqu’à la vis de butée (E).

• Incliner le guide à un angle de 45°.

• Faire glisser le protège lame vers l’extérieur

• Soulever le bras (G) du protecteur à pont jusqu’à

ce que le orice oblong (H) soit libre.

• Faire glisser l’éjecteur de copeaux (4) sous le bras

(G) jusqu’à ce que le levier de commande (I) et le

trou oblong (H) soient alignés (H) (Fig. 8.1).

• Insérer les leviers de commande (l) dans les ori-

ces oblongs.

• A l’aide de la vis moletée (K), xer l’éjecteur de co-

peaux (4) sur la table de dégauchissage (Fig.8.2).

• Faire glisser le protège-lame sur le collecteur.

Protecteur à pont de l’arbre de rabot (Fig. 9)

Le réglage en hauteur se fait avec la poignée de blocage

(J). En desserrant la pince (K) le protecteur de lame

mobile peut être poussé sur le côté pour permettre le

réglage correct de la largeur de dégauchissage. Après

le réglage, resserrer pince de serrage.

Dégauchissage:

La profondeur de dégauchissage est réglée par la ma-

nette (Fig. 8.2, L) située sur la face avant de la table

(N), en utilisant la graduation (M) Le meilleur résultat

est obtenu en effectuant des passes de dégauchissage

situées entre 0,5 et 1,5 mm d’épaisseur.

Attention:

Le protecteur à pont de l’arbre de rabot doit recouvrir

la partie non utilisée de l’arbre. Pour travailler, se tenir

devant la machine du côté de la table d’entrée. Placer

les doigts des deux mains sur la pièce à usiner. Ne pas

placer les doigts sur les chants de la pièce.

Ne dégauchir que les pièces de bois reposant parfai-

tement sur la table et pouvant être guidées de manière

sûre. Pour les pièces courtes, utiliser un la poignée
