Intended Use

The machine meets the requirements of the valid EC

machine directive.

• Before starting to work, all guards and safety

devices must be tted to the machine.

• The machine has been designed to be operated by

one person. The operator is responsible opposite

third parties for all dangers emanating from the

machine in the working area.

• Observe all safety instructions and warnings

attached to the machine.

• See to it that safety instructions and warnings

attached to the machine are always complete and

perfectly legible.

• The planer/thicknesser with its tools and

accessories offered has exclusively been designed

for the treatment of wood.

• When working with the standard equipment,

the work pieces must not exceed the table size.

Passage width 254 mm, passage height 120 mm.

• Larger work pieces that could tilt from the table top

require the use of a table length extension or a roller

stand (optional equipment).

• When used in enclosed rooms, the machine must be

connected to a dust extractor unit to remove wood

chips and sawdust. The air ow rate at the suction

connector must be 20 m/s.

• For work in commercial spaces, a dust extractor unit

must be used that meets commercial requirements.

• Never switch off or remove dust extractor units with

the main machine running.

• The machine must only be used in technically

perfect condition in accordance with its designated

use and the instructions set out in the operating

manual. Any functional disorders, especially those

affecting the safety of the machine, should therefore

be rectied immediately.

• The safety, working and maintenance instructions of

the manufacturer, as well as the dimensions stated

in the chapter Technical Data, must be observed.

• Relevant accident prevention regulations and other,

generally recognized safety-technical rules must

also be adhered to.

• The machine may only be used, maintained, and

operated by persons familiar with it and instructed

in its operation and procedures. Arbitrary alterations

to the machine release the manufacturer from all

responsibility for any resulting damage.

• The machine may only be used with original

accessories and original tools of the manufacturer.

• Attention: The use of other tools or accessories than

stated in the operating instructions, can hold the risk

of injuries.

• Any other use exceeds authorization. The

manufacturer is not responsible for any damages

resulting from unauthorized use; risk is the sole

responsibility of the operator.

• Tous les dispositifs de sécurité et de protection

doivent être montés pour le travail.

• Le rabot-dégau est conçu pour être utilisé par une

seule personne qui est responsable des dommages

survenant aux tiers au poste de travail.

• Observer toutes les consignes relatives à la sécu-

rité et au danger gurant sur la machine.

• Veiller à ce que toutes les plaques d’avertissement

relatives à la sécurité et au danger apposées sur la

machine soient toujours complètes et bien lisibles.

• Le rabot et ses outils doivent uniquement être utili-

sés pour raboter le bois.

• Les dimensions maximales des pièces à usiner ne

doivent pas excéder celles de la table. Largeur de

passage 254 mm, hauteur de passage 120 mm.

• Lors de l’usinage de pièces de grandes dimensions

qui pourraient basculer, il faut utiliser une rallonge

de table ou une servante (équipements optionnels).

• Si la machine est utilisée dans des locaux fermés,

elle doit être reliée à un dispositif d’aspiration. Tou-

jours utiliser un dispositif d’aspiration de copeaux

de bois et de sciure. La vitesse d’air à la buse

d’aspiration doit être de 20 m/s.

• Pour l’aspiration lors de travaux relevant du

domaine professionnel, utiliser un aspirateur homo-

logué.

• Ne pas arrêter ou déconnecter les dispositifs d’as-

piration pendant le fonctionnement de la machine.

• Utiliser la machine uniquement lorsqu’elle est en

parfait état technique et conforme à l’emploi prévu,

en observant les instructions d’utilisation, en tenant

compte de la sécurité et en ayant conscience du

danger. Eliminer (ou faire éliminer) immédiatement

toute panne susceptible de compromettre la sécu-

rité.

• Les consignes de sécurité, de travail, et d’entretien

du constructeur ainsi que les valeurs qui sont indi-

quées dans les caractéristiques techniques, doivent

être respectées.

• Respecter les consignes de prévention des acci-

dents appropriées, ainsi que les autres règles de

sécurité techniques reconnues en général.

• L’utilisation, l’entretien et la préparation de la

machine ne doivent être effectués que par des

personnes familiarisées à la machine et informées

des dangers inhérents. Toute modication de la

machine exclut la responsabilité du fabricant quant

aux dommages consécutifs.

• La machine doit être utilisée uniquement avec des

accessoires et des outils d’origine.

• Attention: L’utilisation d’autres outils et accessoires

que ceux-ci spéciés dans ce manuel, peut causer

des blessures.

• Toute autre d’utilisation est considérée comme non

conforme. Le fabricant n’assume pas de responsa-

bilité en cas de dommages dans ce cas; le risque

est à l’entière responsabilité du seul l’utilisateur.
