It is imperative that the following situations are
avoided at all times:
• When the cutterblock is blocked due to abnormal
feed force during cutting, turn the machine off and
disconnect it from power supply. Remove the work
piece and ensure that the cutter block runs free.
Turn the machine on and start new cutting operation
with reduced feed force.
• Check the machine and carry out required
maintenance work on it each time before you start
it up. In particular, inspect all the anti-kick claws
that they are free moving and return to their initial
position after lifting.
• Damaged or soiled workpieces may cause a risk of
danger. Never use metal parts in the machine or any
materials which can fracture or shatter.
Risk of injury!
• Use a push stick to plane any short workpieces.
• If a push stick is not used there may be a risk of
serious danger. The push stick should always be
kept at the point provided on the left-hand side of
the machine when not used.
• It is imperative that the following situations are
avoided at all times: Premature interruption of
the cutting operation (planing cuts which do not
complete the entire length of the workpiece; planing
of badly bowed wood where there is inadequate
contact on the infeed table).
Never cut recesses, tenons or moulds.
–Avant de réutiliser votre machine, il faut vérier
soigneusement son état général, pour déterminer
si elle peut fonctionner correctement et remplir
sa fonction.
–Vérier l’alignement des pièces en mouvement, si
elles ne sont pas tordues, cassées, leur montage
et toutes les autres conditions qui peuvent affecter
le fonctionnement de votre scie à ruban.
–Sauf indications contraires dans les instructions,
il est recommandé de faire réparer correctement
ou remplacer, par un service agréé, un protecteur
ou toute autre pièce endommagée.
–Les interrupteurs défectueux doivent être rempla-
cés par un service agréé.
–Ne pas utiliser votre scie à ruban si l’interrupteur
ne commande plus ni l’arrêt ni la marche.
Il est impératif d’éviter systématiquement les situa-
tions suivantes:
–Lorsque l’arbre de rabot se bloque du fait d’une trop
forte avance, arrêtez la machine et débranchez la du
secteur. Retirez la pièce en cours d’usinage et as-
surez-vous que l’arbre tourne de nouveau librement.
Rebranchez la machine et mettez la en route pour
reprendre le travail de rabotage en réduisant l’avance.
–Avant chaque mise en route, veillez à vérier que
l’appareil est en état de fonctionnement et à effec-
tuer les travaux d’entretien prescrits. En particulier,
inspecter toutes les griffes anti-coup de pied qu‘ils sont
en mouvement libre et revenir à leur position initiale
après le levage.
–Les pièces endommagées ou encrassées sont por-
teuses de risques. Les particules métalliques ou le
matériau capable d’éclater ne doivent pas être usinés
avec cet appareil. Risque de blessure !
–Pour le rabotage de pièces courtes, utiliser un pous-
soir à bois.
–Un poussoir manquant peut entraîner des risques. Le
poussoir doit toujours être rangé à l’endroit prévu à
cet effet lorsqu’il n’est pas employé sur le côté gauche
de la machine.
–Il est impératif d’éviter systématiquement les situations
suivantes : arrêt prématuré du rabotage, passes de
rabotage qui ne seraient pas effectuées sur toute la
longueur de la pièce, le rabotage de pièces gauches
qui ne reposent pas parfaitement à plat sur la table. Ne
tentez jamais de raboter des formes, des languettes
et des évidements.
