The table surfaces as well as the infeed and output
rollers must always be kept free from resin.
Regularly clean infeed and output rollers.
In order to avoid overheating of the motor, regularly
check the air openings for any dust sticking on.
After a longer period of use, it is recommended to
have the machine checked by an authorized dealer
service.
Tool care:
Cutter block, clamping devices, knife supports and
knives must be regularly cleaned from resin, as
a clean tool improves the planing quality. To this
purpose, clamping devices, knife supports and knives
can be put in a common resin remover for 24 hours.
Resin from aluminium tools may only be removed with
cleaning liquids not being aggressive to this type of
metal.
Attention:
In case of a bad condition of the electrical system, the
performance can drop for a short period of time. Ask
a specialist.
m Electrical connections
The electric motor installed is completely wired ready
for operation.
The connection meets the requirements of the German
standards VDE and DIN.
The connection to the electric power supply to be ef-
fected by the customer as well as the extension cable
must also meet these requirements.
Connection and repair work on the electrical installation
may be carried out by a qualied electrician only.
Important hints:
The electric motor has been design for operating mode
S1.
Defective electrical connection cables:
Electrical connection cables often suffer insulation
damage. Possible causes are:
Pinch points when connection cables are run through
window or door gaps.
Kinks resulting from incorrect attachment or laying of
the connection cable.
Cuts resulting from running over the connecting cable.
Insulation damage resulting from forcefully pulling out
of the wall socket.
Cracks through aging of insulation.
Such defective electrical connection cables must not be
used as the insulation damage makes them extremely
hazardous.
Check electrical connection cables regularly for dam-
age. Make sure the cable is disconnected from the
mains when checking.
Electrical connection cables must comply with the regu-
lations VDE and DIN. Only use cables marked "HO 7
RNF". This is a binding regulation.
