Dust emission parameters
The dust emission parameters measured according to
the principles for measuring dust emissions (concen-
tration parameters) for woodworking machines speci-
ed by the German wood professional committee, are
below 2 mg/m³. Dust emissions can therefore be con-
tinuously kept within the range allowed under currently
valid German regulations by connectingh the machine
to a vacuum exhaust system with an airow speed of
at least 20 m/s.
Depending on the particular type of work piece, the
stress values of the manufacturer must be observed.
General Notes
• When you unpack the device, check all parts for
possible transport damages. In case of complaints
the supplier is to be informed immediately. Complaints
received at a later date will not be acknow ledged.
• Check the delivery for completeness.
• Read the operating instructions to make yourself
familiar with the device prior to using it.
• Only use original scheppach parts for accessories as
well as for wearing and spare parts. Spare parts are
available from your specialized dealer.
• Specify our part numbers as well as the type and year
of construction of the device in your orders.
In these operating instructions we have marked the
places that have to do with your safety with this

m General Safety Rules
Hand on these safety notes to all people working on
the machine. The instructions must be read by every
operator before starting work. During the work, it is too
late. This is especially applicable to personnel not work-
ing regularly on the machine, for instance when doing
preparation, adjusting or servicing work.
• Observe all safety instructions and warnings
attached to the machine.
• See to it that safety instructions and warnings
attached to the machine are always complete and
perfectly legible.
• Check all power supply lines. Do not use defective
lines.
• Make sure that the machine is set up in a stable
position on rm ground.
• Take care that there is sufcient light on and around
the machine.
• Be careful when working: Risk of injury for ngers
and hands through the rotating cutting tool.
• When working on the machine, all guards and
covers must be tted and in working position.
• Keep other people, especially children, away from
the working area and from the machine when it is
connected to the power supply.
• Make sure children cannot touch the machine not in

Les valeurs de la poussière émise, mesurées selon les
«Principes servant au contrôle de l’émission de pous-
sières (paramètre de concentration) des machines à
bois» de la commission spéciale Bois, sont inférieures
à 2 mg/m³. Ceci permet de conclure qu’il est possible,
en raccordant la machine à une aspiration de service
réglementaire dont la vitesse de circulation d’air est d’au
moins 20 m/s, de respecter durablement et de façon
sûre les valeurs limites TRK pour la poussière de bois
applicable en République d’Allemagne.
Selon le matériel traité, il faut observer les valeurs de
sollicitation du fabricant.
Instructions générales
• Vérier dès la livraison, qu’aucune pièce n’ait
été détériorée pendant le transport. En cas de
réclamation, informer aussitôt le livreur. Nous ne
pouvons tenir compte des réclamations ultérieures.
• Vérier que la livraison soit bien complète.
• Familiarisez-vous avec la machine avant la mise en
œuvre par l'étude du guide d’utilisation.
• Pour les accessoires et les pièces standard, n’utiliser
que des pièces d’origine. Vous trouverez les pièces de
rechange chez votre commerçant spécialisé.
• Lors de commandes, donnez nos numéros d’article,
ainsi que le type et l’année de fabrication de la
machine.

qué les passages relatifs à la sécurité avec le sym-

m Consignes de sécurité
• Faites passer les consignes de sécurité à toutes
les personnes travaillant sur la machine. Avant
de commencer à travailler, l’utilisateur doit lire
le manuel et particulièrement les instructions de
sécurité. Pendant le travail, il est trop tard. Ceci
est spécialement important pour les personnes
ne travaillant à la machine qu’occasionnellement
(travaux de préparation, entretien, etc.).
• Observer toutes les consignes relatives à la sécurité
et au danger xées sur la machine.
• Veiller à ce que toutes les plaques d’avertissement
relatives à la sécurité et au danger sur la machine
soient toujours complètes et bien lisibles.
• Vérier les conducteurs de raccordement au réseau.
Ne pas utiliser de cordon défectueux.
• Lors du montage de la raboteuse, veiller à ce que
celle-ci repose sur un support stable.
• A la place de travail et dans son environnement il
faut de la lumière sufsante.
• Attention pendant le travail: Risque de blessure aux
doigts et aux mains au contact de l'arbre rotative du
rabot.
• Lors du travail sur la machine, tous les dispositifs
protecteurs doivent être montés.
