10. Installation
m IMPORTANT!
You must fully assemble the appliance before
using it for the rst time!
Note: Use a suitable coolant, e.g. cutting oil. This im-
proves the endurance and increases the service life
of the metal saw blade.
Saw blades are available which have been optimal-
ly designed for particular tasks. You can use any of
these saw blades provided they have the correct
shank tting (single lug shank).
Mounting / replacing saw blades
Warning ! Pull the mains plug out of the socket be-
fore you carry out any task on the device, otherwise
there may be risk of injury.
Turn the quick-release chuck (18) and hold it in the
turned position.
Press the selected saw blade (14) up to the stop in
the quick-release chuck (18). The saw blade (14)
should then engage.
The saw blade (14) must lie in the guide roller (13).
Release the quick-release chuck (18). The chuck-
must then return to its original position. The saw
blade (14) is then locked in place.
Attaching the guide fence
The guide fence (19) can be attached on the left or
right side of the device (see g. A).
Release the two locking screws of the fence guide
openings (15).
Slide the guide fence (19) into the fence guide
openings (15).
Re-tighten the two locking screws.
Operation
Setting the cutting angle
Release the clamp screw (11) using the Allen key
(20).
Set the cutting angle 0° / 15° / 30° / 45° (left / right)
on the base plate (9). The embossed marking for
each recessed line indicates the cutting angle set-
ting. The housing has a stop pin (21) (see g. B)
which must engage in the appropriate recessed
line.
Tighten the clamp screw (11) using the Allen key
(20).

Residual risks
The machine has been built according to the state of
the art and the recognised technical safety require-
ments. However, individual residual risks can arise
during operation.
Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use
of improper electrical connection cables.
Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
Residual risks can be minimised if the „safety in-
structions“ and the Proper use“ are observed
along with the whole of the operating instructions.
Avoid accidental starting of the machine: the oper-
ating button may not be pressed when inserting the
plug in an outlet. Use the tool that is recommend-
ed in this manual.. This ensures that your machine
performs optimally.
Hands may never enter the processing zone when
the machine is in operation.
9. Intended use
The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed
purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of
misuse. The user / operator and not the manufactur-
er will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind
caused as a result of this.
To use the equipment properly you must also observe
the safety information, the assembly instructions and
the operating instructions to be found in this manual.
All persons who use and service the equipment have
to be acquainted with this manual and must be in-
formed about the equipment’s potential hazards.
It is also imperative to observe the accident preven-
tion regulations in force in your area.
The same applies for the general rules of health and
safety at work.
The manufacturer will not be liable for any changes
made to the equipment nor for any damage resulting
from such changes.
The machine may be used only with original acces-
sories and original tools of the manufacturer.
The safety-, workplace- and maintenance specica-
tions of the manufacturer as well as the dimensions
specied in the technical data must be observed.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industri-
al applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
equipment is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
