5. Once the desired alarm volume is set, press the Play/Pause button to conrm and go back to
clock display in standby mode while the set alarm(s) is (are) active.
Notes:
If Bluetooth
®
is selected for wake-up mode, you must have a device paired with and within reach
of the RW 260BT.
Also the audio app on your device must be active/opened with a song to be played selected.
If this is not the case, the unit will connect to your device but not play any music, i.e. no alarm
sounding.
If no device is paired then the buzzer will sound instead.
If radio is selected for wake up mode, the unit will play the last station selected.
AUX mode cannot be selected for wake up mode.
Activating/Deactivating an Alarm
When you have set an alarm and selected one of the wake up modes (Bluetooth
®
, Radio or
Buzzer) then the alarm is automatically activated and will sound at the set time. When alarm 1 or
alarm 2 are activated this is indicated by the display showing
and/or in the top left corner.
To check the set alarm time and mode, press the Volume Down/Alarm 1 button (for alarm
1) or the Volume Up/Alarm 2 button (for alarm 2) once while in standby mode. After about
5 seconds the display will switch back to the clock display.
To deactivate a previously set alarm, enter the alarm setting mode by holding the Volume
Down/Alarm 1 button (or the Volume Up/Alarm 2 button) for 2 seconds. Press the Play/
Pause button once to enter the alarm mode setting and then press the Volume Down/
Alarm 1 button (or the Volume Up/Alarm 2 button) repeatedly until nothing is shown for
wake up mode.
Press the Play/Pause button twice to skip the alarm volume setting and go back to the clock
display. The symbol for the alarm which you have deactivated ( and/or ) will not be shown in
the display anymore.
To reactivate a previously set alarm, enter the alarm setting mode as described above and select
a desired wake up mode. When exiting the setting mode, the symbol for the activated alarm (
and/or ) will be shown in the top left corner of the display.
Stopping an Active Alarm
When the alarm is sounding, press the STANDBY
/MODE button to turn it off. The alarm will
come on again on the next day at the set time.
Snooze Function
The snooze function allows you to delay an active alarm for approximately 8 minutes. To do so, press
the SNOOZE button once while the alarm is active. The alarm will stop and come on again after ap-
proximately 8 minutes. During this time the alarm symbol is ashing in the display.
To cancel the snooze function, press the STANDBY
/MODE button.
Sleep Timer
The sleep timer function enables you to set a countdown timer after which the unit will switch itself into
standby mode automatically:
While in radio, Bluetooth
®
or AUX mode, press and hold for 2 seconds the SNOOZE/SLEEP
button. “00” will be shown in the display. Then press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button repeatedly to
select a desired countdown after which the unit will turn itself off automatically. “SLEEP” will be
shown in the display
You can select 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 minutes.
To check the remaining time on the countdown, press and hold for 2 seconds the SNOOZE/
SLEEP button. The remaining time will be shown in the display. After around 4 seconds the dis-
play will switch back to the current mode display.
If you want to cancel the function, press and hold for 2 seconds the SNOOZE/SLEEP button and
then press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button repeatedly until “00” is shown in the display. “SLEEP” will
disappear from the display.
