IMPORTANT
During cleaning and maintenance work, do not place the mower on its side, tilt it
forwards (spark plug facing upwards) as otherwise start-up difficulties could
occur. When tilting the mower upwards make sure the ejection flap does not get
damaged. Secure the mower in its raised position!
NOTE
When tilting the mower upwards, make sure no oil or petrol escapes. Fire hazard!
Remove dirt and residual grass directly after mowing. Use a brush or cloth for cleaning.
Do not rotate the cutter bar, as otherwise motor oil is pumped into the carburettor/air
filter and start-up difficulties can occur.
IMPORTANTNever use high-pressure cleaners or a normal water jet to clean the drive
area, engine parts (such as ignition system, carburettor etc.), seals and bearing points.
Damage or expensive repairs can be the consequence of such action.

– For space-saving storage or for transportation, either loosen the two upper wing
nuts and fold the upper section carefully forwards B4 or loosen all the four wing
nuts far enough to allow the handlebar to collapse without resistance in a Z-shape
over the engine D4 .
The toothed fitments on the lower end of the bar must snap out of the recess
on the housing.
– Do not kink nor squeeze the throttle cables in the process.
CAUTION
When the bar is moved for transport and storage purposes, it may fold over
unintentionally during loosening of the wing nuts and release of the toothed
fitments from the recesses on the housing. In addition, crushing spots can occur
between the base and top of the bar and the housing. This may result in risk of
injury.
