E) Vacuum sealing with bottle caps
With the bottle cap you can reclose any open wine or beverage bottle with non-carbonated contents. Vacuum sealing
provides for a slowed down oxidation of the beverage and this is why its quality and taste are preserved longer.
ATTENTION: Vacuuming pressure may cause very thin glass bottles to implode and cause injury. These are
therefore not suitable for vacuum sealing with the bottle caps.
Put one end of the connection hose (20) into the hose port of the appliance (10) and the other end into the bottle cap
(25) (fig. T). Press the bottle cap firmly into the bottle.
Snap the cover in place (8) using the LOCK-buttons (12). The appliance starts and stops the vacuum sealing cycle
automatically.
Immediately remove the connection hose from the bottle cap and from the appliance.
To release the vacuum, just pull the cap slowly from the bottle. The sound of air rushing back into the bottle can be
heard.
F) Manual sealing with MAX VAC (4)
By pressing this button vacuum force is stronger than that set for the automatic cycle. The pump takes in air when the
MAX VAC button (4) is kept depressed (fig. N).
Then release the button and the appliance automatically seals the bag according to the sealing time set using the SEAL
LEVEL button (6).
G) Manual sealing with MAN SEAL (5)
When you press this button and the SEAL MIN indicator (6a) or SEAL MAX indicator (6b) lights up, the sealing process
is set in motion immediately.
In this way sensitive foods (e. g. biscuits etc.) are not damaged or crushed by a too strong vacuum (fig. O).
H) Adjusting the sealing time by means of SEAL LEVEL (6)
The factory set sealing time is MIN. If the bag is not completely sealed, change the sealing time by means of the SEAL
LEVEL button (6) (fig. P). Adjust the sealing time before starting the vacuum sealing cycle.
The manually selected setting time is cancelled as soon as the plug is taken out of the socket or the switch (1) is set to
OFF.
Wall mounting
Insert two screw anchors into the wall at the distance of 220 mm shown in
figure. Check that the screw anchors are appropriate for the weight of the
appliance. Mount the appliance on the wall. You will be surprised at how often it
will be used. This is an appliance that you can use every day to keep your food
fresher and for longer.
