1. The pump extracts air from the bottle and the vacuum chamber (15) so that a vacuum is generated.
2. After the air has been extracted, the pilot lamp (3) starts glowing red – the pump is still in
operation.
3. Now, you can stop the vacuum-sealing process by pressing the manual cover valve (1).
Immediately remove the connection hose (18) from the bottle cap and from the appliance.
To release the vacuum, just pull the cap slowly from the bottle. The sound of air rushing back should be
heard.
NOTE: You can interrupt the vacuuming process any time by pressing the manual cover valve (1) and
keeping it pressed until the appliance switches off. If necessary, you can release the locking buttons (6)
by pressing the upper part of the casing (13) down on the left and on the right with both hands.
Demounting and assembling the appliance
Caution – hazard of injury and burns!
The sealing bar (7) becomes hot in use!
Demounting the appliance
Disconnect the appliance from the mains by pulling the mains plug.
Open the upper part of the casing and lift it of the lateral hinges.
Carefully remove the sealing of the vacuum chamber (8) + (14) at the upper and lower part.
Carefully remove the rubber lip (16).
Assembling the appliance
Make sure the appliance is disconnected from the mains.
Insert the rubber lip (16) in the casing. For this, insert the thin end of the rubber lip in the intended
recess and press it on firmly.
Insert the sealing of the vacuum chamber (8) + (14) in the upper and lower part of the casing. Start at
the right edge and insert the sealing carefully in the intended recess. Then fix it with slight pressure.
Place the upper part of the casing on the lower part and close it.
The power cord can be stored in the cable compartment (2) in the appliance’s rear.
NOTE: When inserting the sealing and rubber lip make sure that it fits correctly – improper installation
impacts the appliance’s function!
NOTE: Do not store the appliance with engaged locking buttons (6)!
Attention! Before cleaning this appliance always pull the mains
plug first!

immerse in water and never clean them under running water!
