• Bags and foil rolls are available with the widths 20 cm and 30 cm, foil rolls also with width 15 cm. Opt
for the bag size suitable to accommodate your food to be preserved. Make sure that the bag is at least
8 cm longer than the food to be vacuum-sealed.
• Only use genuine Rommelsbacher vacuum bags/rolls with grooved structure.
• For vacuum-sealing sensitive food, we recommend using the function “MAN SEAL“ (manual sealing) or
the vacuuming containers, available as special accessories.
A. Fully automatic vacuum-sealing with bags
• Connect the appliance to the mains and open the upper part
of the casing.
• Fill the bag without making wrinkles or stretching the
surface. The area of the sealing seam must be clean, dry and
free from food inside and outside.
• Position the filled bag with the flat surface downwards in
front of the appliance and place the open edge of the bag in
the vacuum chamber (15).
• Close the upper part of the casing.
• Press the two locking buttons (6) at the front side of the
upper part with your thumbs in order to engage them in the
intended holding fixtures (13).
• The appliance is put into operation via the integrated
contact switch (9) and the fully automatic vacuum-sealing
process is started.
1. The pump extracts air from the bag and the vacuum
chamber (15) so that a vacuum is generated.
2. After the air has been extracted, the bag is sealed.
This is indicated by the pilot lamp (3) illuminating red.
The pump is still in operation.
NOTE: Please note that not the complete air is extracted of the bag when using the function “MAN
SEAL” (manual sealing) and thus there is no entire vacuum. This means a reduction of the food’s storage
time – thus, in this case the chart “Storage times” stated in this instruction manual is not valid!
