Prior to initial use
Please remove all advertising stickers and foils from the oven door and display before fi rst use.
For a start, please clean all the removable accessory parts in warm water with some dishwashing
detergent or in the dishwasher.
Prior to initial use, please heat up with setting “upper and lower heat“ (220 °C - 20 m), in order to burn
in the protective coating on the heating elements.
Please do not be bothered by the slight, harmless smoke and smell that will appear for a
short while. While doing so, make sure that the room is well-aerated.
After the appliance has cooled down, clean the oven chamber with a moist cloth.
Operation
WARNING: Hazard of injury and burns!
Casing, back wall, oven door, trays, grid and other components
are getting hot during use and fi rstly stay hot after switch-off!
Prior to operation, ensure to have inserted the crumb tray below the lower heating element.
1. Standby mode
Connect the power plug to a properly grounded socket. The display lights up briefl y and then
goes out.
2. Switch on / activate out of standby mode
To switch on the appliance, activate the touch key (11).
The green illuminated touch key (6) is blinking and the lighting of the oven chamber is
switched on.
NOTE: If the temperature inside the oven chamber is > 70 °C (residual heat from a previous use)
the display will show the residual heat indication “-H-“. If there´s no residual heat measured,
the display remains off.
NOTE: The appliance will switch out automatically if no further key is touched within a period
of 10 minutes.
3. Select the function
There are 8 different operating functions available.
You can select the desired function via the function selection touch key (6).
By activating this touch key (6) repeatedly, the available functions with related temperature
suggestions resp. running times appear in succession.
NOTE: The appliance will automatically switch back to active mode, if within a period of
60 seconds no further key is activated. The touch key (6) is blinking.
