d) Switching between °C/°F Temperature Units (Outdoor Sensor)

• Ifthetemperatureunitinthedisplayoftheoutdoorsensoristobeswitched,openthe

battery compartment of the outdoor sensor. Take out the batteries and wait until the

display goes out.

• SettheDIPswitch4accordingtothetableinchapter8.a).

• Insertthebatteriesintotheoutdoorsensoragainandclosethebatterycompartment.

If the outdoor sensor is no longer found (only dashes appear in the correspond-

ing display area of the basis station), you need to perform a sensor search as

described in chapter 9. a).

e) Resetting Maximum/Minimum Values

The maximum/minimum values can be reset separately per outdoor sensor.

• Pushthebutton"CHANNEL/+"(16)brieyrepeatedlyuntilthearrowsymbol(8)isshown

to the right of the channel number 1 or 2 or the indoor sensor "IN" (when outdoor sen-

sors with channels 3 - 8 are signed on, select the corresponding channel number).

• Ifyouwanttoresetthevalues,keepthebutton"CLEAR/-"(14)pushedfor3seconds.

f) Alarm Function

The basis station oers the option of issuing an alarm signal when a temperature threshold

is exceeded or undercut.

The alarm function is only possible for channels 1 and 2.

Example: Upper threshold ("MAX") = +20.0 °C

 Lowerthreshold("MIN")=-10.0°C

If a temperature of +20.5 °C is measured, the upper threshold is exceeded.

If the sensor measures a temperature of -10.5 °C, the lower threshold is undercut.

Always observe that the upper threshold ("MAX") must be set to a higher

temperature than the lower threshold ("MIN").
