9. Operation

a) Manual Search for the Outdoor Sensors

Finding the outdoor sensor (channel 1 or channel 2)

This can be used if an already-present outdoor sensor with channel 1 or 2 is

no longer found after a battery change.

• Pushthebutton"CHANNEL/+"(16)brieyrepeatedlyuntilthearrowsymbol(8)isshown

to the right of the channel number 1 or 2.

• Nowkeepthe"CHANNEL/+"(16)buttonpushedfor3secondsuntilthesymbolforradio

reception (7) appears. The basis station will look for the outdoor sensor for the next 10

minutes.

Do not push any buttons while scanning, do not move the basis station and the

outdoor sensor.

If you have any reception problems, reduce the distance between the outdoor

sensor and the basis station if required, or pick a dierent site of setup.

Find all available outdoor sensors

This must be used when you want to log on a new outdoor sensor or if an

outdoor sensor with channel 3....8 is to be found.

• Pushthebutton"CHANNEL/+"(16)brieyrepeatedlyuntilthearrowsymbol(8)isto

the left of the indoor temperature.

• Nowkeep the"CHANNEL/+"(16)buttonpushed for3secondsuntilthesymbolfor

radio reception (7) appears next to all channel numbers (1, 2 and 3). The basis station

is looking for all available outdoor sensors in the next minutes.

• Donotpushanybuttonsduringthesearch.

• Ifyouhaveanyreceptionproblems,reducethedistancebetweentheoutdoorsensors

and the basis station if required, or pick a dierent site of setup.
