5. Now mount the other two mounting brackets on the underside of

the appliance as illustrated.

These mounting brackets serve as spacers.

6. Hold the appliance by the sides and hang it on the mounting

brackets. Note the suspension openings on the back of the appli-

ance. Slide the appliance into the slots of the mounting brackets.

Remote Control

The lithium cell in the battery compartment

of the remote control has been secured with

a plastic lm for transport. This prolongs the

life of the battery. Before using the remote

control for the rst time, the plastic lm must be removed so

that it is ready for use.

When operating, make sure that there is a clear view be-

tween the remote control and the sensor under the display

of the appliance. When the range of the remote control de-

creases, the battery must be changed. To change the bat-

tery, proceed as follows:

1. Press the lock in the direction of the

arrow (1).

2. Pull the holder for the button cell out of

the remote control (2).

3. Replace the cell with a battery of the

same type (CR 2025). Make sure that

the polarity is correct.

4. Push the holder back into the battery compartment until

it clicks into place.

Electric Connection

1. Make sure the voltage of the appliance (see rating label)

matches the mains voltage to be used.

2. Connect the mains plug with a properly installed earthed

socket. A signal tone sounds. The current ambient tem-

perature is then displayed.

Notes for Use

• The appliance is equipped with overheating protection.

When the ambient temperature reaches 51 °C, the

appliance switches off.

• Avoid opening doors and windows during heating opera-

tion, as this will impair the heating effect.

• The current ambient temperature is displayed.

• Settings can only be made during operation.

• Some buttons are located both on the appliance and on

the remote control. The same buttons have the same

function.

• The buttons on the appliance are sensor buttons. Touch

the buttons lightly with a nger to perform the function.

• Each key press is conrmed by an acknowledgement

tone.

• The display dims after 30 seconds if no button is

pressed.
