Both sides of the grill plate can be used; one side has a smooth
surface, and the other side a griddle surface.
Grilling can readily be combined with racletting.
Please note: start grilling only once the top of the grill
plate or grill stone has heated up completely.
Racletting
This traditional Swiss cooking method is based on dishes
prepared with molten cheese and potatoes.
The grill plates are used to keep the potatoes warm, and to grill
meat, fish, and other food.
The pans are placed under the heating element – and everyone
can prepare individual portions with molten cheese and the
ingredients of their choice.
Racletting can readily be combined with grilling.
Please note: start racletting only once the top of the grill
plate or grill stone has heated up completely.
Pan-frying
Everyone prepares individual portions in pans placed on the
grid or the grill plate above the heating element while they are
seated cosily around the table; that’s pan-frying!
1 The required temperature has been reached once the
orange indicator light extinguishes. You can then start pan-
frying.
Barbecuing
You can also barbecue meat, fish, skewers and other food
directly on the grid – and all without annoying smoke.
Consequently your Table Chef Grill enables you to barbecue
indoors.
1 Fill the tray with water.
2 The required temperature has been reached once the
