Digital synchro recording won't work if the source is already
playing!
The recorder goes into all-sync record pause mode and the
SYNC indicator, FINALIZE indicator and PLAY light start to
blink.
To cancel recording here, press &.
4 Play the source.
The recorder starts recording automatically.

Use the TIME button to switch displays during recording.

source, the recorder goes into all-
sync record-pause mode.

The Play light on the recorder also blinks.
After the recorder encounters about five seconds of
continuous silence, it assumes the end of the source has
been reached and goes into record-pause mode and the
display shows the SYNC-A message again.
If the recorder detects no signal for one minute, finalization
starts.
Be careful: if the recorder detects another signal (from a
CD or MD), or a start ID (from DAT or DCC), it will start
recording again!
Finalization takes about four minutes, during which time,
none of the buttons are operative. Never turn the
power off during finalization!
The recorder will enter record-pause mode and will not
finalize the disc if the digital signal is interrupted for more
than 5 seconds, or changes format—see Digital signal
interruptions on page 32.
If the recorder reaches the end of the disc, or if there are
more than 99 tracks, the recorder stops recording without
finalizing the disc.
Note: If you find that synchro recording does not seem to
work, see Digital synchro recording troubleshooting on
page 60 for possible remedies.

Le témoin de lecture de l’enregistreur clignote aussi.
Quand l'enregistreur rencontre environ cinq secondes de
silence continu, il suppose avoir atteint la fin de la source, et
passe en mode pause d'enregistrement, et l'affichage
indique à nouveau le message SYNC-A.
Si l'enregistreur ne détecte pas de signal pendant une
minute, la finalisation démarre.
Attention: Si l'enregistreur détecte un autre signal (d'un
CD ou MD) ou un ID de début (d'un DAT ou DCC), il
recommencera à enregistrer!
La finalisation exige environ quatre minutes, pendant
lesquelles aucune des commandes n'est opérationnelle.
Ne mettez jamais l'appareil hors tension
pendant la finalisation!
L'enregistreur passera en mode pause d'enregistrement et ne
finalisera pas le disque si le signal numérique est interrompu
pendant plus de cinq secondes, ou change de format - voir
Interruptions du signal numérique à la page 32.
Si l'enregistreur atteint la fin du disque, ou s'il y a plus de
99 plages, l'enregistreur s'arrête d'enregistrer sans finaliser
le disque.
Remarque: Si vous avez l'impression que l'enregistrement
synchro ne fonctionne pas, consultez Dépannage pour
l'enregistrement numérique synchro à la page 62 pour les
mesures possibles.
