Freezer
The freezer has 4 stars and is used for freezing fresh food and to store
frozen foods. Check the maximum storage period indicated on the
packaging.
• Make sure food to be frozen is packaged leak-free and airtight.
Special freezer bags are ideal.
• Note! Do not let food to be frozen come into contact with food that
is already frozen.
• Always note the content and the freezing date on the packaging
and do not exceed the storage period.
• In the event of a power failure or malfunction, the freezer will
remain cold enough to store food for some time. In that case, avoid
opening the door of the freezer as much as possible in order to
prevent a temperature increase.
• Place frozen foods in the freezer as soon as possible after
purchase. Adhere to the maximum storage period shown on the
packaging. Once food is defrosted, do not freeze it again.
• Never put hot food in the freezer.
• Check the packaging of food for damage before freezing it.
Freezing
The maximum quantity of food that can be frozen at a time is shown
on the data plate. Store food during the freezing process in the (middle)
freeze drawer.
• Twenty-four hours before you want to freeze a larger quantity of
food, you must press the super freeze button (E).
The indicator (F) lights up.
For smaller quantities (maximum of 1 to 2 kg), you do not have to
change the cold setting.
• Press the super freeze button (E) again once the food is frozen.
The indicator (F) goes out.
