During the self-cleaning function, the glass
oven window gets hotter than normal.
Never touch the oven during the cleaning
cycle. Keep small children, house pets and
clothing at a safe distance. During the
cleaning process, contact with the oven
window could easily burn your children or
house pets.
Before use of the oven
Prepare for use
Remove the sticker from the glass panel in
the oven door.
Remove the protective foil from stainless
steel doors.
Remove all accessories from the oven and
clean them thoroughly using a dish-
washing detergent. Heat the closed, empty
oven to maximum temperature. With the
oven still empty and closed, switch on first
the upper and lower elements, and then the
grill and hot air circulator in combination
with the upper and lower elements (see the
chapter on operation). Leave the oven on
until it stops smoking, then turn it off. After
it has completely cooled, clean it with
warm water.
Please note:
When the oven is heated to a high
temperature for the first time, you will smell a
“new appliance” odour. This is to be
expected.
Setting the time of day
If you have not set the time, 0.00 will flash.
Press the button . 0.00 now appears
continuously.
Set the time of day with the +/– button.
The symbol appears on the display.
Attention!
If the power is interrupted, the programming
and/or time setting may disappear. The three
0s will flash in the indicator. Re-program and
re-set the time.
The tone of the audible alarm heard when a
programme finishes can be set to one of three
different levels. After setting a programme,
press the – button and select a tone. You can
switch off the tone you have just set by
pressing the button.

SAFETY
Things to watch for
The appliance should only be connected by
a qualified fitter (see electrical
connection).
Disconnect the appliance before starting
with cleaning or reparation. Preferably by
taking the plug out of the socket or by
turning off the mains switch.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
The appliance is only suitable for domestic
use and for the purposes indicated in this
manual.
The glass oven door can heat up (to a max.
of 100 °C) when using the oven at maximum
temperature for a long time (e.g. during
grilling). Act with care if children are
nearby.
Grease and oil are flammable when over-
heated. Stay near the cooker when
preparing dishes.
Combining this appliance with the
appliance of another brand is not
permitted.
Cords to electrical appliances - e.g.
a mixer - can get caught between the door
of the convector oven or may accidentally
touch the cooking zones.
The surface of the appliance becomes
warm during use.
Always cool the oven with a closed oven
door.
Before using the grill with the door open,
pull the built-in protective plate in the roof
of the oven 10 cm forwards. This will
prevent the control knobs becoming
overheated.
Never cover the base of the oven with
aluminium foil and do not put baking tins on
the base of the oven. The foil will block the
heat, damaging the enamel, and the baking
result will therefore not be satisfactory.
Spilled foods with sugar or fruit juices,
such as prune juice or rhubarb, may affect
the colour of the enamel. Spills of this type
should be cleaned immediately.
Do not place any flammable materials in
the oven.
Never pour water directly in the hot oven,
as it can damage the enamel.
Never sit or stand on the open oven door.
Do not clean the oven with a high pressure
hose. This could cause a short circuit in the
electric wiring.
The appliance is built in, which means that
you are not exposed to any electrical
connections.
