Switching on and off
Make sure that the mains voltage
matches the details on the type pla-
te.
1. Make a loop in the end of
the extension cable and
suspend this in the cable
strain relief (7) on the mains
cable ( 6).
2. Re-connect the extension cable.
3. Make sure that the hopper ( 3) is
empty before switching on.

To start the device,
slide the rotary
switch ( 2) lock
( 2a) in the direc-
tion .
Turn the rotary switch to the right. The
device is now in continuous operation.
5. Fill the hopper with the material to be
shredded ( 3).
The material is drawn in and sh-
redded.
6. To turn off, turn the rotary switch ( 2)
left to the OFF position.
The device will continue to run after
switching off.
Changing the rotational
direction (reverse)
You can change the rotational direction of
the cutting roll (reverse) to remove jammed
material.

device is now in inching mode.

Emptying the collection box
Empty the collection box regularly.
Be aware that the collection box
lls unevenly under the discharge
chute!
1. Switch off the device and unplug the
mains plug from the socket.
2. Unlock the collection box ( 11) by
moving the safety switch ( 10) to the
“OFF” position.
3. Remove the collection box from the
chassis ( 9) and empty it.
4. Make sure that the area around the sa-
fety switch is free of wood chips before
inserting the collection box again.
5. Put the collection box back in place
and move the safety switch up as far as
it will go.
Overload protection
If the motor is overused, e.g.if the cutting
roll is blocked due to branches that are too
thick, the device switches off automatically.
