Adjustmentoftheoat
switch
The oat switch (3) is adjusted so that it
can be started up immediately.
In the case of stationary installation,
check regularly (no less then once
every three months) that the oat
switch (3) is working.
The switch-on/switch-off point of the oat
switch (3) can be set in multiple incre-
ments:
1. Press the lever (13) on the oat switch
height adjustment (2) together and
move it to the desired position.
2. Release the lever (13). The oat switch
height adjustment (2) locks into place.
Check the oat switch (3).
- It must be positioned so that it
can lift and lower freely. The
switching point heights “On”
and “Off” must be easy to
reach.
Check this by placing the pump
into a vessel lled with water
and lift the oat switch (3) care-
fully by hand and then lower it
again. In this case, you can see
whether the pump switches on
and off.
- Also ensure that the separation
distance between the oat switch
(3) head and the oat switch
height adjustment (2) is not too
small. In the case of a separa-
tion distance which is too small,
trouble-free functioning cannot
be guaranteed.
- During the adjustment of the oat
switch (3), ensure that the oat
switch does not contact the oor
before the pump switches off.
The pump run dry if too long a oat
switch cable ( 12) is chosen,
particularly if the oat switch height
adjustment (2) is not installed (see
„Initial Operation“).
