Do not carry or x the equip-
ment by the cable.
Use only extension cables that
are protected from spray water
and designed for outdoor use.
Always fully unroll a cable drum
before use. Check the cable for
damage.
Disconnect the mains plug from
the socket before all work on
the equipment, in case of leaks
in the water system, during
work breaks, and when not in
use.
Extension cables must not have
a cross-section that is smaller
than those of rubber hoses with
the designation H07RN8-F. The
cable length must total 10 m.
The wire cross section of the
extension cable must be at least
2.5 mm2.
Perform the electrical installa-
tion in accordance with national
regulations.
Initial Operation
Positioning/Hanging
The dimensions of the pump shaft must
be not less than 40 x 40 x 50 cm, in
order that the oat switch ( 3) can
move freely.
The device can be suspended from the
handle ( 1) or placed on the bottom
of the shaft.
The pump can be suspended and/or
removed using the nylon cord ( 11)
provided.
To ensure it is suspended securely,
thread the cord ( 11) through the
handle ( 1)
as depicted in Figure .
Never suspend the pump by the hose.
Ensure that the equipment is
not hung up or held by the
mains cable. There is a risk
of electric shock from dam-
aged mains cables.
Note that, over time, dirt and sand
may collect on the bottom of the
shaft, which could damage the
pump.
We recommend standing the pump
on a brick.
If the water level is too low, the silt in
the shaft can quickly dry out and im-
pede the pump when warming up.
Mains Connection
The pump you have purchases is already
tted with an earthed plug. The equipment
is designed for connection to an earthed
wall socket with a RCD (Residual Current
Device) at 230 V~ 50Hz.
Connecting the Pressure
Line
The pump is installed
- Either with a xed pipeline
- Or with a exible hose line.
1. Screw the quick-connect adapter (8)
onto the pump outlet (6).
2. Press the red release button on the
quick-connect adapter (8) and slide
the angle adapter with quick-connect
connector (9) into the quick-connect
adapter (9). Let go of the red release
button again.
3. Fit the hose over the reducer (10) and
secure it with a hose clamp.
