Before switching the device on,
make sure that it is not touching any
objects.
1. To turn the device on, press the switch
lock (11) and then press the on/off
switch (10).
2. Release the switch lock again.
3. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(10). The device cannot be switched to
continuous operation.
After the device has been
switched off, the cutting unit
continues to rotate for some
time. Allow the cutting unit to
come to a complete stop.
Keep hands and feet at a
safe distance! Risk of injury!
Remove grass cuttings regularly
from the spool cap to make sure
that cutting is not impaired.
Speed control

You can vary the speed by
pressing the button (9).
The current selection is indicated by the il-
lumination of the small light.
high = 7000 min-1
med = 5500 min-1
low = 4600 min-1
The device switches to ECO mode
when the mounted tool is not under
load. This reduces the motor speed.
When loaded, the device automati-
cally switches back.
Operation
Checking the charge status
of the batteries
The battery charge level indicator (12)
shows the state of charge of the battery
(20).
Press the button (13) for the charge level
indicator on the device. The charge level
of the battery is indicated by illumination
of the corresponding LED lights (3 LEDs per
charge level indicator).
3 LEDs illuminated (red, orange and green):
Battery charged
2 LEDs illuminated (red and orange):
Battery partially charged
1 LED illuminated (red):
Battery needs to be charged
Charge the battery (20) when only
the red LED on the charge level in-
dicator (14) is illuminated.

Work safely, giving due con-
sideration to the next steps!
• When strimming, pay attention to coun-
try-specic regulations and/or those of
your local municipality.
• Do not do strimming work during gen-
eral rest periods.
• Solid items such as stones, metal parts
and similar are to be removed. These
can be ejected and lead to personal
injury or damage to property.
• When strimming high bushes or
hedges, the working height should be
at least 15cm. This means that animals
like hedgehogs are not put at risk.
