Replacing blades
Improper installation can
cause severe injury.
Never tilt the lawnmower to
the side or forwards when
the petrol or oil tank is fi lled!
This could damage the en-
gine, voiding the warranty.
Check the blade for wear and damage. If
dull or damaged, replace the blade!
Always have a specialist workshop
sharpen a dull blade, as they can
perform imbalance testing.
Wear gloves when handling the
blade.
Once you have loosened the blade
screw (33), you have to replace the
clamping disk (35).
The tightening torque of the blade
is 45 Nm.
1. Disconnect the spark plug connector
(11).
2. Put the device in the maintenance posi-
tion (see Figure ).
3. Use fi rm gloves and keep hold of the
blade (32). Use a spanner to turn the
blade bolt (33) counter-clockwise from
the motor spindle (34).
4. Reassemble the new blade in the re-
verse order.
Make sure that the blade is positioned
correctly and resting fl ush on the en-
gine spindle.
The clamping disk (35) must be posi-
tioned between the blade screw and
blade.
5. Tighten the blade with 45 Nm.
Adjusting the carburettor
The carburettor has been preconfi gured
for ideal performance at the factory. If any
readjustments are necessary (see “Trouble-
shooting”), have the adjustments made by
a specialist workshop.
