• If the blades come into contact with a

foreign object, turn the engine off im-

mediately. Wait until the blade comes

to a stop and check the device for

damage. Only continue working if the

device is undamaged.

• Switch off the device during longer

breaks or when transporting it and wait

until the blade has stopped moving.

• Clean the device after each use, as

described in the section “Cleaning/

storage“.

Setting the cutting

height

The device has 7 positions for setting the

cutting height:

1 25 mm 4 45 mm 7 75 mm

2 30 mm 5 55 mm

3 38 mm 6 65 mm

1. Turn the lever (16) outward to set the

cutting height.

2. Move the lever to the desired position

(31) to set the cutting height.

3. Release the lever (16) for setting the

cutting height.

The correct cutting height is between

30and 45mm for an ornamental lawn

and about 40 - 65 mm for a utility lawn.

A high cutting height should be

selected for the ﬁ rst mowing of the

season.

Emptying the grass

collection box

Fill level indicator:

You can see when the grass collection box

(20) is full through the ﬁ ll level indicator

(22) on the top of the grass collection box

(20).

The ﬁ ll level indicator (22) only

works while the device is in opera-

tion.

1. Switch off the engine and wait for the

blade to come to a stop.

2. Lift the rear impact protection (19).

3. Remove the grass collection box (20).

4. To empty the grass collection box (20),

grab it at the carrying handle (21) and

the bottom handle (21a) (see also “Dis-

posal/environmental protection”).

5. Mount the grass collection box again.

Cleaning and Servicing

Have any service and main-

tenance work on the device

that is not described in this

instruction manual performed

by a professional. Only use

original spare parts. Accident

hazard!

Maintenance and cleaning

work must always be carried

out with the engine switched

off and the spark plug con-

nector removed. Risk of in-

jury!

Allow the device to cool off

before performing any main-

tenance or cleaning. Engine

elements are hot. There is a

danger of burns!
