Safety instructions for pneumatic tools/Setup and use
TAKE PUNCTURE
INJURIES SERIOUSLY! Do not treat an injury
from a jet as a harmless cut. A high-pressure jet
can ‘inject’ poisons into the body, which can
result in serious injuries. Accordingly, seek
immediate medical attention for any skin injury
caused by a jet.
The pneumatic device must not be modified in
any way without the manufacturer’s permission.
Always operate the pneumatic device within
the stated pressure range (2–6.3 bar).
Always disconnect the pneumatic device from
the air supply after use and when the device is
not in use.
Never use any pneumatic device if it is not
air-tight or is waiting to be repaired.
Never connect the pneumatic device to a
compressed air hose whose pressure is greater
than 6.3 bar.
Ensure that your work area is clean and well
illuminated. Untidiness and poorly lit work
areas can cause accidents to happen. This
makes it easier for you to control the pneumatic
device – especially if something unexpected
happens.
Ensure that device repairs
always use original replacement parts and
are performed by a qualified technician.
This ensures that the device is safe to operate
at all times.
Keep children and other persons out of the
work area while the device is being used.
If you are distracted, you could lose control
of the device.
Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing
and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothing, jewellery or long hair could become
trapped inside moving parts.
If the compressor suddenly stops working,
release the trigger and set the device down.
Always ensure that hoses and piping are
regularly drained of condensate (water) before
and after using the pneumatic device. The best
solution here is to use a condensate separator.
ATTENTION! A compressed air
system that is not powerful enough
can make your device less efficient.
General safety
instructions for
Pneumatic Underbody
and Cavity Spray Gun
Never point the pneumatic device at yourself,
other people or animals. Water is ejected from
the device at high pressure and high speed.
This can be extremely dangerous.
Setup and use
Connecting the tank and
compressed air hose
Always wear protective clothing and googles!
Otherwise there is a risk of injury.
The tank
3
can be removed and replaced by
screwing it off and on.
Now remove the
twist cap by turning it
anti-
clockwise. The tank can now be filled through
the opening
3
.
Now fill the tank with underbody
protection or
a cavity sealant (e.g. ACF 50,
CorrosionX) up
to the mark shown.
Never use liquids for
spraying that are corrosive, combustible or
hazardous to health. This can result in serious
injuries.
Screw the twist cap back onto the tank by
turning it in a clockwise direction.
Use a ¼” push-on coupling to connect
1
the
compressed air hose to the compressed air
supply.
Always ensure that the compressed air hose
does not get in the way of your work.
