Note: The use of the term ‘pneumatic device’ or
‘device’ in the following text refers to the pneumatic
tools named in these operating instructions.
When pneumatic devices are
used, basic safety precautions must be taken in
order to avoid the risk of fire, electric shock or
personal injury. Before first using the product,
please ensure you read and follow these operating
instructions in full, and keep them in a safe place.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for losses,
damage or personal injury caused by a failure to
follow these operating instructions.
This device is not intended for use by individu-
als (including children) with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities or who lack
experience and/or knowledge of its use,
except in such cases where these individuals
are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or these individuals have received
instruction from this person in the use of the
device.
Do not allow children to play with the device.
DANGER OF INJURY!
Shut off the compressed air supply before
performing maintenance.
EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Never use petrol or other flammable
liquids to clean the pneumatic device!Residual
fumes in the pneumatic device could be ignited
by sparks and cause the pneumatic device
to explode.Do not work with the device in
explosion hazard areas where combustible
liquids, gases or dusts are present.Never work
on materials which are or could potentially be
highly flammable or explosive.
Always use the device for the specific
applications for which it has been designed!
Do not overload the device.
Never use hydrogen, oxygen, carbon
dioxide or any other bottled gas as
the source of energy for this tool,
since this may cause an explosion and lead to
serious injury.
Maintain and clean the device regularly as
specified (see section ‘Care and cleaning’).
Before setup or first use, check the device for
any damage. Before use, always ensure that
the device is in perfect working order.
Stay focused while working! Unexpected
movements of the device can be hazardous.
Ensure good bodily posture during use. Ensure
that you are not likely to overreach or lose
your balance during use. This will make it
easier for you to control the pneumatic device
in unexpected situations.
Do not use any device if its switches are faulty.
A device that can no longer be switched on or
off is dangerous and must be repaired.
