The permissible speed of the accessory tool
used must be at least as high as the maximum
speed specified for the compressed air tool. Ac-
cessories that rotate faster than the permissible
rate can break and throw pieces into the air.
Wear a safety helmet for overhead work.
The tool will run on after the compressed air
tool has been switched off.
Ensure that no hazard is caused by sparks cre-
ated during use. Explosive or flammable dusts
can be generated when processing certain
materials. There is a risk of explosion or fire.
Hazards caused by repetitive move-
ments
Users of the compressed air tool may experi-
ence unpleasant sensations in their hands, arms,
shoulders, neck area or other body parts.
Assume a comfortable position when working
with the compressed air tool, pay attention to
safe footing and avoid unfavourable positions
or such that make it difficult to keep your bal-
ance. During work over longer periods, the
operator should change posture to avoid dis-
comfort and fatigue.
If the operator notices symptoms such as persis-
tent discomfort, throbbing, pain, tingling, burning
or stiffness, these warning indications should not
be ignored. The operator should consult a quali-
fied medical doctor.
Hazards caused by accessories
Separate the compressed air tool from the com-
pressed air supply before replacing the attach-
ment or accessory.
Only use accessories that are intended for this
appliance and comply with the requirements
and specifications listed in these operating
instructions.
Avoid direct contact with the accessory tool
during and after use because it may be hot or
have sharp edges.
The permissible speed of the accessory tool
used must be at least as high as the maximum
speed specified for the compressed air tool. Ac-
cessories that rotate faster than the permissible
rate can break and throw pieces into the air.
Never fit a grinding disc, cutting disc or milling
cutter. A bursting grinding disc can lead to seri-
ous injuries or death.
Do not use discs that are damaged, cracked or
have been dropped.
Only approved accessory tools with the appro-
priate shaft diameter may be used.
Observe the manufacturer's recommendation
for small grinding tools. The maximum permissi-
ble protrusion (L0 = length of the shaft between
the collet chuck end and the small grinding
tool) specified by the manufacturer must not be
exceeded when using small grinding tools! If
the protrusion (L0) is increased, the permissible
rotation speed must be lowered. Wherever pos-
sible, insert the complete length of the shaft of
the accessory tool into the collet chuck. Ensure
that the clamping length (Lg) is at least 10 mm.
