Operation

Using the Insertion tool with mandrel

NOTE: Use the screwdriver end of the combi-

nation key

to release or tighten the screw of

the mandrels

Insert the mandrel

into the electrical tool as

described.

With the aid of the combination wrench

unscrew the screw from the mandrel

Place the insertion tool you wish to have onto

the screw between the two washers.

With the aid of the combination wrench

tighten the screw on the mandrel

Switching on and oﬀ /

Setting the speed range

Switching on / Setting the speed range:

Connect the plug

to the power supply unit

by inserting it into the plug-in device

provided

for such purposes (see Fig. A).

Connect the device to the power supply by

inserting the mains plug into the socket.

Slide the ON / OFF switch

to a position

between “5000“ and “20000“.

Switching off:

Slide the ON / OFF switch

to the “OFF“

position.

Using the grip collar

with LED light

Hold the spindle lock

and unscrew the

clamping nut

from the thread, turning coun-

ter-clockwise.

Release the spindle lock

Then unscrew the grip collar

from the

thread, turning counter-clockwise.

Screw the grip collar with LED light

onto the

thread, turning clockwise.

Hold the spindle lock

and screw the clamp-

ing nut

onto the thread, turning clockwise.

Release the spindle lock

Set the ON / OFF switch of the LED light

position “I“ to switch it on.

Set the ON / OFF switch of the LED light

position “0“ to switch it oﬀ again.

Repeat the steps in reverse order to reattach the

grip collar

Advice on working with

Use the highest speed when working on steel

or iron with the milling bits

Use a short trial on a test piece to determine the

optimum rotational speed range for working on

zinc, zinc alloy, aluminium, copper and lead.

Use the low speed range for working on plastics

and low-melting point materials.

Use high speeds on wood.

Use the medium speed range for cleaning,

polishing and buﬃng.
