Polenta à La Meridionale
Bereidingstijd: ca. 35 min. - 4 pers.- STOMEN EN COMBINATIE
Benodigdheden: 1 kom van 2 liter
160 g middelfijne polenta (maismeel)
1 l water
2 sjalotten
1 wortel
100 g ham in blokjes
zout, peper
Meng de polenta in de kom met 1 l warm water en zout en breng deze in 5 tot 7 min.
onafgedekt aan de kook op MAX. Als het mengsel kookt, controleer dan het waterniveau in
het reservoir en kook het eerst 15 min. en dan nog 12 min. op Stoom 440W (na 12 min.
omroeren en water bijvoegen in het reservoir). Schil de wortel en sjalotten en snij ze in
stukjes. Bak 4 min. in een kom met 1 sl olijfolie op MAX. Voeg deze garnering met de ham
toe aan de gekookte polenta. Voeg naar smaak peper en zout toe. U kunt deze polenta
warm bestrooien met geraspte (parmezaanse) kaas en zo opdienen of eerst nog even
gratineren (ca. 10 min. GRILL 1 + 250W als de polenta nog warm is, of GRILL 1 + 600W
als de polenta koud is). Ook kunt u de polenta laten afkoelen, in plakjes snijden en
opbakken in de pan.
