12 Error-handling for technicians
12.1 MAIN PCB
Because of its backward capability to a 2-tube lift, the diagnostics is divided into Drive unit related
and Chair levelling related.
The Main board only shows the drive related errors in detail.
When the fault is to the levelling, the Main board will show E97 or E98, which means that you have to
check the error at the sensor control board.
12.1.1 Diagnostic displays
The display on the MAIN PCB shows the actual error. More detail and updated info of this display
errors is attached to this document.
The display can show the following errors.
0 = Switch in armrest is in off position
1 = Switch in armrest is ON, Main safety line closed.
2 = Swivel seat switch is operated.
3 = Inputs at x7 are not closed or jumpers not connected
5 = Lift is operated at 2 places
6 = Lift did not charge for 2,5 hours
7 = Lift was in sleepmode
A = Safety drive unit Right controlled
b = Safety drive unit LEFT controlled
C = Safety footrest Right controlled
d = Safety footrest Light controlled
E = Jumper at X6 pin 1,2 not connected
F = Jumper at X6 pin 3,4 not connected
g (9) = Lift is at the endpoint and endswitch in opposite direction is controlled.
1
1 = Endswitch Right is controlled
11 = Endswitch Left is controlled
H = High Load / overcurrent.
L = Low batt. (under 21V )
t = temperature PCB too high (I2t)
P = Rotation monitor unit not working OK / Dipswitch 1 should be in ON position.
E 0 1 = Too high voltage on X10-1. (wiringfault transformer/chargepoint or missing ground?)
E 0 2 = Overvoltage batteries
E 0 3 = Relay-error
E 0 4 = Other voltages in safety-line Main PCB
E 0 5 = Interconnection between safetyline left and right
E 0 6 = MAIN PCB defect (safetyline left or right are active when not controlled)
E 0 7 = MAIN PCB defect (safetyline left or right will not active when controlled)
E 0 8 = SMD fuse, contact catch (osg) or limit-switch not active (see 9.2)
E 0 9 = Contacts on X7 do not work synchronously.
E 1 1 = Bypass is connected and activated by hold to run.
E 1 2 = Batteries will not reach max voltage after 21 hours of charging
E 1 3 = 10 times overcurrent on output x10-3, so wrong connected cause x10-3 is not used
E 1 4 = Internal defect PCB. (replace PCB)
E 1 5 = Relay will not become active (resistance in safetyline, relay defect?)
E 1 6 = Wiring brake Main motor not connected.
E 1 7 = Relay will not become active (resistance in safetyline, relay defect?)
E 1 8 = Motorposition fault
E 2 0 = Wrong dipswitch setting Main PCB
E 97 = Error set by Sensor control board no beep (Check display on Sensorcontrol PCB)
E 98 = Error set by Sensor control board fast beep (Check display on Sensorcontrol PCB)
E 99 = No response of sensor control PCB
