Setting the temperature limits
Follow steps 1 to 3 described above.
4. Use the 25 or 28 button to move the
star in front of "LIMIT".
5. Press the button 26 to view the next
submenu.
MAX: upper temperature limit setting.
MIN: lower temperature limit setting.
6. Use the 25 or 28 button to move the
star in front of the temperature limit set-
ting you wish to adjust.
7. Press the button 26 to view the next
submenu.
MAX
>30: alarm is triggered if baby room tem-
perature exceeds 30 °C.
>25: alarm is triggered if baby room tem-
perature exceeds 25 °C.
MIN
<15: alarm is triggered if baby room tem-
perature falls below 15 °C.
<10: alarm is triggered if baby room tem-
perature falls below 10 °C.
Note: if you have chosen °F as the unit of
temperature, the temperature values will
be in degrees Fahrenheit.
8. Use the 25 or 28 button to move the
star in front of the required temperature
limit value.
9. Press the button 26 to confirm your
setting.
The setting will be stored, the menu will
be closed, and the parent unit will return
directly to monitoring mode.
Notes:
• Just because you have set the MIN and
MAX temperature limits does not mean
that the temperature alarm function has
been activated. You must explicitly set
the function to ON if you want to be
notified of a temperature alarm.
• After 15 seconds without any input from
you, the menu will be closed with the
settings unchanged and the parent unit
will return directly to monitoring mode.
Activating the temperature alarm
1. Follow steps 1 to 3 described above.
4. Use the 25 or 28 button to move the
star in front of "ALARM".
5. Press the button 26 to view the next
submenu.
ON: The temperature alarm function will
be activated and you will be notified if the
temperature rises above or falls below
the set limits.
OFF: The temperature alarm is deacti-
vated. You will receive no notification if
the temperature in the monitored room
rises above or falls below the set limits.
6. Use the 25 or 28 button to move the
star in front of "ON".
7. Press the button 26 to confirm your
setting.
The setting will be stored, the menu will
be closed, and the parent unit will return
directly to monitoring mode.
As soon as the room temperature in the
monitored room rises above or falls below
the relevant set temperature limit, an alarm
is issued on the parent unit, provided the
temperature alarm function has been acti-
vated.
• You will hear a beep every 10 seconds.
• A red warning symbol will appear in the
centre of the screen.
– TOO HIGH: temperature has
risen above the set limit value.
– TOO LOW: temperature has
dropped below the set limit
value.
• The temperature symbol in the status bar
will be flashing.
