TV/Monitor does not support, the video display will go blank. To restore
video display, press [ ] or turn OFF/ON the T 747.
Frame Rate: Frame rate refers to the number of frames or images that
are projected or displayed per second in motion pictures, television or
computer video display.
Depending upon your area and video resolution capability of your
TV/Monitor, the following “Frame Rate options are available
50Hz: setting normally for Europe and most of Asia
60Hz: setting normally for North America
24Hz: select to deliver lm-like motion characteristics; available or
selectable only if your TV/Monitor supports 1080p.
When the “Resolution to Display” is set to Auto, “Frame Rate as an
option will not be available.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• Thesourcecomponent,theT747andtheTV/Monitormusthavethe
same frame rate settings. If they do not have the same settings, video
output maybe distorted.
• SelectableFrameRatefor120VversionmodelsofT747islimitedonly
to 60Hz and 24Hz. If your TV/Monitor does not support 1080p, 24Hz will
not appear as an option.
• For230VversionmodelsofT747,50Hz,60Hzand24Hzarethe
selectable Frame Rate options. If your TV/Monitor does not support
1080p, 24Hz will not appear as an option.
PICTURE SETUP
Picture setup can be defaulted to “Normal” or “Custom. These settings can
be accessed at Video Modes” menu item of the “Picture Setup OSD.
Select “Normal” to retain the default picture setup settings. If you would
like to further improve the picture settings or adjust the parameters
according to your preference, set Video Modes” to “Custom. The following
parameters can be adjusted at “Custom setting
Brightness: Adjust overall brightness of the video display.
Contrast: Adjust bright areas (white level) of the video display.
Color: In combination with brightness and contrast levels, adjust the
color level to suit your preference. Set the level so that the colors look
strong but still natural, not overdone.
MPEG Noise Reduction: This setting addresses video distortion like
video noise and blocking artifacts. Set MPEG Noise Reduction level to
High, Medium and Low.
Cross Color Suppressor: Remove cross color artifacts that can occur
when high-frequency luminance (brightness) signals are misinterpreted
as chroma (color) signals. This can cause unwanted ickering, ashing
colors or rainbow patterns. Select “On to turn ON this feature;
otherwise, select “O.
Film Mode Detect: While normally set to “O, turn “On this setting
to compensate for authoring errors that may have occurred during the
process of converting lm programs to video.
