Using the grill

Measures to perform before using

the product for the rst time

After the leak test, the grease used during factory stor-

age must be burned o from the grill before it can be

used. You can burn o the storage grease by following

the instructions below:

1. Open the hood of the grill and ignite all burners

according to the ignition instructions.

2. Set the burners to and let them burn for 5

minutes with the hood open.

3. Close the hood and keep the burners at for 10

minutes.

4. Turn the burners to OFF and close the gas ow.

5. Let the grill cool down for 15 minutes.

6. Clean the grilling grids with a grill-cleaning

brush.

7. Grease the grilling grids with cooking oil.

When burning o the storage grease, the grill

may produce unpleasant smoke. This is nor-

mal; the smoke will vanish once the storage

grease has been burned out.

Measures to perform before each use

To operate the grill safely and appropriately, you need

to perform a few checks before each use. Carefully go

through the checklist below:

1. Check that the grill is placed correctly and there

are no ammable materials or liquids in the

immediate vicinity of the grill.

2. Check that the gas hose is not cracked or torn

(A).

3. Check that the low-pressure regulator is fas-

tened tightly (B).

4. Check that the grill’s bottom, grease tray, heat

distributor plates and burners are clean of grease

and marinade. By doing this, you can prevent

grease res.

5. Check that the burner holes are not covered by

insect nests or webs (C).

6. Check that there are no bristles from grill brush-

es stuck to the grill or grids.

Do not use the grill if the gas hose is damaged

or the grill is missing parts.
