De ce fait il ne faut pas entrer la température mesurée, mais
la température estimée de colonne d’air. Ceci parceque la
température d’air près d’un versant de montagne, à cause
des conditions thermiques, peut être plus haute que la tem-
pérature de la colonne d’air.
Autoset
L’autoset est une autre fonction supplémentaire très utile. Il
est possible de régler l’altimètre de cette façon qu’il se réajus
-
tera toujours à une heure définie sur une altitude déterminée.
Par ex. l’Autoset peut être réglé d’une manière telle, qu’il se
remet chaque jour, à 05:00 hs du matin, sur l’altitude d’habi-
tation de l’utilisateur du WINDWATCH PRO. Sans la fonction
Autoset, l’altitude d’habitation de l’utilisateur WINDWATCH
PRO réglée la veille, peut être le lendemain de 40m plus haut,
et ce à cause de la variation de pression occasionnée par les
conditions météorologiques. Le logiciel du WWP exécutera la
commande réglée pour l’Autoset seulement, si l’écart d’alti-
tude se trouve à l’intérieur d’une certaine marge de +/- 100m,
qui est plausible en assumant une variation de pression en-
gendrée par la météorologie. Si la pression mesurée à 05:00
hs du matin dépasse cette marge, l’instrument WWP assume
automatiquement un changement du lieu où se trouve l’utili-
sateur du WWP et la fonction Autoset ne sera pas exécutée.

of less than 50 m.
It is suggested not to enter the measured temperature, but
the estimated air column temperature. The reason is that
due to the thermal lift, air temperature at mountain side
might be higher than the air column temperature.
Autoset
The Autoset is another helpful additional function. It is
possible to set the altimeter in that way that the instrument
is always self-adjusted at a determined time to a certain
height. As an example, the Autoset may be set such that
it is reset daily at 05:00 am to the habitation height of
the WINDWATCH PRO II-user. Without use of the Autoset
the habitation height adjusted by the WINDWATCH PRO II-
user the previous day could e.g. be higher by 40 metres the
following day, due to change of air pressure based on
weather conditions. The WINDWATCH PRO II software
performs the preset Autoset order only in case of an altitude
deviation within a certain bandwidth of +/- 100m which
is plausible by change of air pressure based on weather
conditions. In case the measured pressure at 05:00 am is
exceeding this band-width, the WINDWATCH PRO II auto-
matically assumes a change of location of the WINDWATCH
PRO II-user and the Autoset shall not be carried out.
