Kalkoenbout met chutney
Totale bereidingstijd: 120-130 minu

Ingrediënten voor 2-3 personen:
1 kalkoenbout (ca. 1200 g)
zout, peper
30 g margarine
200 ml room
200 g abrikozen- of mango-chutney
250 ml water
1 blik abrikozen (280 g) of
mangopartjes
Bereiding
1. Kruid het vlees met zout en peper en
leg het in een braadpan. Leg vlokjes
margarine op het vlees en braad het
onafgedekt gedurende ca. 60 minuten.
Voeg de room toe en kook het vlees
nog eens 15 minuten.
2. Voeg de chutney toe en laat het
vlees in nog eens 15 minuten onafge-
dekt gaar worden. Verwijder de bout.
3. Voeg aan de fond water toe en bind
het geheel eventueel met voorbereide
maïzena (door de chutney wordt de
saus al enigszins gebonden).
4. Doe de abrikozenhelften of de
mangopartjes in de saus. Serveer de
saus bij het in schijfjes gesneden vlees.
