Use
• Donotswitchonwhenempty.Tobeabletoabsorb
microwaves,theremustbesomethingintheappliance
(food)toavoiddamage.Ifyouwouldliketopractise
usingthevariousfunctions,placeacupofwater
inside the oven.

Microwaveheating
of beverage can result in delayed eruptive boiling.
Therefore,caremustbetakenwhenhandlingthe
container.
• Eggsintheirshellandwholehard-boiledeggsshall
notbeheatedinamicrowaveovensincetheymay
explode.
• Whenusingthegrillfunctions,useONLYcontainers
suitable for use in conventional ovens.
• Whenusingthecombinationfunctions,useONLY
heat-resistantglassorceramicdishes,whichcanalso
beusedinamicrowaveoven.
• Neverpreparefooddirectlyontheglassturntable,as
doingsocancauseittocrack.Thisalsoappliesto
preparing foods in roasting bags, paper bags or the
like.Alwaysuseasuitablecontainer.
• Theglassturntablecanbeusedforalltypesof
cooking-i.e.usingbothmicrowaveandgrill.However,
exercisecautionwhenmicrowavingfatsbecausethey
heat up rapidly and can cause the glass turntable to
crack.
• Usethegrilletrayonlyforgrilling,i.e.notfor
microwavecookingorcombinationprogramswhich
includemicrowave.
Cord and plug
• Removetheplugfromthesocketwhencleaning,or
whennotinuse.Avoidpullingthecordwhenremoving
theplugfromthesocket.Instead,holdtheplug.
• Donotusetheapplianceifthecableorplugis
damaged, if it is not functioning properly, or if it has
been damaged by a heavy impact or similar.
• Iftheapplianceorplugisdamaged,itmust
be inspected and if necessary, repaired by an
authorisedrepairengineer,otherwisethereisarisk
ofelectricshock.Nevertrytorepairtheappliance
yourself.Pleasecontactthestorewhereyoubought
the appliance for repairs under the guarantee.
Unauthorisedrepairsormodicationstotheappliance
willinvalidatetheguarantee.
• Itishazardousforanyoneotherthanaqualied
technician to carry out any service or repair operation
whichinvolvestheremovalofanycoverwhichgives
